I've read that the steam version shall work on PC and Win10. If I try to install, it freezes at that point when 'applications are removed' (I don't even know which one). One problem some people have had is the game won't work if it doesn't find a Mic it can detect, seems like a small issue but believe me many people have done everything right and the game won't fire up only to find out they don't have their Mic plugged in or the PC doesn't recognize it etc because it isn't plugged in the right place. I copied the installation files from DVD into a subfolder where COD2 was suppost to be installed. Then I right klicked the setup.exe and chose compability WinXP SP3 AND run as administrator. Installation was very quick completed. Patching to V1.3, I finally could join one of the XI servers. Thanks for help everyone.
