I am what is refered to as a "Limp Wrister" which means I hold the gun to softly. This contributes to jams and in the case of the COlt the shell casing ejecting straight back and hitting me in the forehead. I have had springs and ejector pin worked to no avail....the problem is me. Anyway, my Gold Cup with custome grips: A better .45 for me is the S&W 945, Performance Center; Not sure how to post this link but if you have never seen Jerry Miculek shooting it's worth a look. http://www.break.com/usercontent/2009/1/Jerry-Miculek-Quick-Shooting-655296.html http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uisHfKj2JiI S&W is one of my accounts and I have had the pleasure of meeting this gentleman over a cup of coffee after hours at the S&W range in Springfield, MA.

But I do have the luxury of places to shoot. Near my primary residence I belong to a gun club only minutes from my house. http://www.lprgc.org/ I also have a house in the Pocono Mountains of PA and can virtually shoot out my back door. I limit that to .22's and go deeper into the woods for the bigger guns. Pics from my back porch: Something you may appreciate Mikey because of Zach is that shooting sports are enjoyed by myself and my two sons. It is nice to have a sport where at 66 I can still have a close bond with my "boys". When are you getting Zach a bike????

I have a C&R License and can buy all of these types of guns direct over the internet or gun shows. For a gun to be considered a Curio and Relic I think it needs to be over 50 years old. Full autos are not allowed. Mine all have the Chrysanthinum intact which was the Emperors symbol. Many Arisakas had the symbol ground off on orders from, I think, McArthur. The standard Arisaka. A special Arisaka designed to help shoot down aircraft. Different sights and a bipod: Something for the Brits who can't even have their own gun in their house British Enfield No 4 MK 1: British Enfield Jungle Carbine: Carcano Model 38, type of rifle used to shoot JFK: The Kar 98, German Battl; Rifle: 3 reconditioned American rifles M 1 Garand 1917 Enfield 1903 Springfield Unknow to many the 1917 Enfield saw the most military duty in WW I and WW 2. Many assume it was the 1903 Springfield. These guns were reconditioned by MILTECH so some "collector" type value is lost. http://www.miltecharms.com/rifles.htm And for my own ethinic heritage a Swedish Mauser. Sweden supplied the steel for these Mausers because in their opinion Swedish steel was better than German steel. An opinion with which I agree. And last for now, the Mosin Nagant made famous in Enemy at the Gates. Very Good quality Mosins can still be had for little over $120.00; If any of you are interested in collecting vintage firearms look into obtaining a C&R License. It is not difficult. If at all interested read the below link: http://www.fo.com/firearms/sgn-cr.htm

Original caliber was .455 but ammo was hard to get so it was modified to accept 45 ACP. Would have higher value if in original caliber as a collector item. This pistol is in real nice condition. Russian Mosin, 1940 Model Czech Makarov, Romanian TTC Tokarov I have not shot the Webley's as yet.

This article, published after the last massacre in the UK, in June, says it all. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/10220974 Oh and for those wondering how we defend ourselves and our property against intruders, harsh language is still permitted provided it cannot be heard outside the premises (no I am NOT joking!!!).
