COD4 Ban Appeal

1. What server were you banned from?: >XI< MW2 Freezetag 146b9
2. When did you get banned?: 20 February 2024
3. What was your in-game name?: Mandinghino
4. What is your game GUID (if known):
5. Why do you think you were banned?:

   for being drunk? Not sure it was a ban butt I can't connect to the >XI< MW2 Freezetag 146b9 server since the last 2 days.

Hi Mandi, you don't appear on the ban list. Are you getting any messages when you try to connect?

Hi Totty 

It's oddly strange because I don't get any errors or warning it just says "Timeout.." or something like that. To be fair I also tried connecting to a few COD4 servers and I get the same timeout message at the end 

I'm using a MacBook Pro 2019 with Bootcamp (Windows partition) and an external eGPU but didn't have any problem before. As a last resort I night reinstall everything and see if that works

If you haven't already then try installing cod4x. That can clear up some oddities

Also, there is another thread running where @MANE has recently had issues connecting to our servers with a certain ISP but could xonnect using a different one,maybe try using your phone as a router to see if that is the issue. MANE's issue seemed to clear up once we restarted the server. That is likely to happen in the next 48hrs all being well

Madi I see no current ban! this is the wrong forum to receive help. Please post in the computer help section of the forum. You will be able to reach more people who hopefully can help you. No one can see your posts here unless an Admin approves them.
