you have infared temp gun to check hot spots while gaming.  eg the case top heat (open case or closed ?) other use temp monitor software  and what is the room ambiant temp.

good for has 70.5 Amps on the 12v rail  funny say is 80amp  certified,  Just make sure the wire contacts are all the way in connection both ends of cable

the RTX5070 draws 250watts (20 Amps) so that leaves 55.5 amps  for rest of system Note : RTX Founders Edition  with PCI-e V.5 draws 37.5 amps leaving 33 amps for rest of system.

just make sure metal pins on both end of PCI-e cable are fully pushed in the plastic plug   your good  otherwise

The 50 series have a new connector style. Goes from 2x 8pims to one 12pin adapter thing. I have checked it. After going back to 10 and doing some testing so far much better performance and stability overall for both amd and nvidia gpu. Amd has more frame drops due to its nature and needing to be tweaked in settings while nvidia is stable.

only thing i see is temputure of GPU ,  question was this got during Covid ?  for the workmenship sucks those time as the vaxine.

if out of warranty I'd  re-T.I.M.  the gpu and replace ram thermal pads or send it back to manufactor.

12pin for PCI-e V.5  motherboard  does your support it ? 

win 10 will use PCI-e V.4 or less 

Note:Windows 10 does not support PCIe 5.0 graphics cards. Currently, there are no graphics cards available that utilize PCIe 5.0, and the latest graphics cards are still compatible with PCIe 4.0. PCIe 5.0 is still a relatively new technology and is not widely adopted yet.

this why for plays better but not too its full capibility.

Debating if keeping the rtx 5070 is worth it.  Both are 192 bit memory with 12gb and similar specs. Mostly got rtx 5070 because only thing available at bestbuy that was newer than current card and was nvidia.

Please check the power cables as well. COD 4 MW wasn't super stable on Windows 11 for me. I am on Windows 10. Please use the Nvidia clean uninstaller when switching GFX cards. They can cause conflict with remnant files.

On a related note check your RAM voltage. For the longest time my RAM was undervolted with 64GB the mobo was in stress at 1.2V. It would crash when I ram memory heavy applications. Recently I upped it 1.25V, you wanna guess if I have had RAM issues since? Random system crashes? Especially when running MATLAB or Ollama or any other memory heavy app. The answer is NO. Super smooth, been kicking myself for not doing this 5 years ago.

I don't remember some 800W Bronze or gold 80% something something. Ok I searched my email archive and found it.

My bios says the dram voltage is at 1.350V

1.35 VDC same here  setting XPO  with amd latest drivers for TR4 MB  with 1.2 VDC had issues  and upped the voltage till was stable   

can go to memory manufactor and see if they have a OC guide for your RAM. Skill has one i used 

Asus has one also

What mobo do you have?  The gpu should, on most boards, go in the nearest slot to the cpu for 16x.

MSI b650 tomahawk wifi. It is in the nearest slot to cpu. I also found the 12v pin cable made specifically for the new nvidia GPUs that my psu came with and trying that out.

Are you running bios version 7D75v1N (or at least 7D75v1M3)? And have chipset version 7.01.08.129 installed?

 

Also, what brand/model of RAM do you have? And CPU, lol

Had a problem with the screen going black & never coming back on; only thing to do was a hard shutdown & restart.

Found out that Windows 11 update was causing computers to crash that were running any game using Easy Anticheat.

Windows issued a patch, but my computer was still going black screen afterwards. 

What fixed the issue for me was to uninstall AMD Adrenalin Edition software, which also uninstalled the graphics drivers, then reinstalling only the gpu drivers.

When I navigated to the AMD driver download website, default was to download Adrenalin Software again; I had to choose custom install & then 'driver only' option.  Also informed me it would keep the drivers up-to-date for me.

No more crashes for me.
