As the title says, how do i check what the bandwidth speed i am getting from my hdmi or display port cable so i know if its getting max performance from it?

need special equipment or a $70 hand held unit 

search your local area for those services

@BUDMAN   don't make jealous with those speeds , nycz was talking hdmi speed for streaming i guess  no stutter

Krunch was right, it is the spec of the cable. Plus need to know the spec of the monitor. If the cable is higher than the monitor can display, the display will throttle.

The last monitor I bought came with 2 different cables, one for hdmi and display port...

I know the specs of cables but that doesn't mean it's what I am getting to the pc. I don't have amd GPU anymore and when I did it's software showed the speeds of cable I was getting. Don't see it on Nvidia control panel/app or GPUz.
