  1. We need to sweet talk the Europeans into playing again. I even miss the English.
  2. Not a happy topic, and virtually no one is prepared for end of life. All I can say at the moment, if you actually have anything of value, property, accounts, IRAs or 401s, put a beneficiary's name on them. Title upon death for property/homes/land & names on accounts. You DO NOT want a court involved in transfer, and you definitely do not want anything trapped in Probate court. A valid will is nice, but can be ignored by probate if monies exceed a certain value ($75k +) and they get involved. Direct transfer is the best method. Why am I saying this? A valid will was recorded last December, and the Probate court has yet to schedule a hearing or issue papers declaring the estate open. Property standing empty for a year is a welcome mat for squatters, and the IRS & Social Security office is not understanding. You don't want your own accounts drained maintaining something that may never be yours. Courts & attorneys have no concept of time, & no concern for expenses created.
  3. A jacket is just that, nothing more. It isn't an armored shield, or a guarantee against pain. My 368 has seen a lot of chill, & endless rain, and it survived & still can be worn to the tavern as a dress rag. I wanted a Highwayman when I was younger, & still do, so I bought one. Is it a better road jacket? No, it serves the same purpose, and really isn't any better than my old Scooter coat. Paired w/my set of leather pants, I'm willing to ride for a thousand+ miles & hopefully enjoy the journey. Pride of ownership goes a long way. My post was simply to endorse a company that doesn't suck ass to Hollywood, and provide a quality product that real people can enjoy. That being said, cool goes a long way to deciding on letting loose of money. Marlon, wih his 618 Arnold, with his modified Bates Highwayman. and Michael Keaton. Don't know what he wore, but it looked sharp in Jackie Brown.
  4. Your name is right there among the "likes". We truly are a clan of idiots.
  5. Looked @ the Schott Perfecto, the Bates Higwayman, & the Foxcreek standard, but elected to go with the folks that have kept me safe for three decades. Saddle bags loaded, & backpack strapped to the sissy bar. Bexar County, Texas bound.
  6. Been wearing an American made leather jacket for the last 30ys. Wanted to buy a new jacket, in the Marlon Brando style, like the Bates Highwayman. US1leathers.com is still in business (moved a couple miles down the road). Just received their steerhide 370, and couldn't be happier. 368 on the left, brand new 370 steerhide on the right. Central pix is new 370 after mink oiling.
  7. sorry TBB, several broken links that won't show me your meme's
