I'm going on 25 years with my wife....still havin' a blast....and now the kids are grown its like being on parole...no joke...! I think the best advice is try to stay friends... My wife is my best friend....that doesn't mean she doesn't nag at times...but if we look in the mirror we're not princes either.... So what I mean is that if your are BFF's you can put up with the nonsense, like we all do for our lifelong friends...not much they cant do and your still pals right?? Same with your girl...if your pals its all good... But if your not then it can get bumpy....so clean your mancave, load the dishwasher and take her to the casino for the night or down the shore or wherever it is you both love doing...lifes work my friend...so get to work....
