Key code in use try later

Hi guys i have just been getting this error Key code in use try later, i have rebooted  router which seems to clear it some times.

 

any other ideas how to fix this issue??

Did you try to connect again after 30minutes or a hour?

Maybe you have to disable the firewall in the router to test and try again.

Cavey, google and you will see that my comment isn't that weird. The cod can be still loaded in memory or in taskmanager. The same as you try to run a local server with cod2/4.

 

 

Rambos, can you try this please:

 

Go to options => multiplayer options.
There you need to go enter key.

Don't change the code. But click on verify.

What did you already try?  Rebooted computer, router and used the verify?

If so, I guess you have to contact the support and have to make a picture of your booklet to get a new cdkey.

Sometimes when you have a PC/game crash or your internet goes out or modem/router/hub flakes out... it can take up a couple of good hrs for your key to be free.... sometimes the server or punkbuster thinks you are still logged in and have not "timed out" or "logged out" yet so you end up being a "ghost" in the systems. It has happened to me several times.

hi tried what you said  and came up with sys32 pb A and B  error  were being used by a program, have uninstalled Pb in safe mode and reinstalled  and up dated , and have tried to log into  servers  and seems to be working ok . Thanks.

 

Hopefully this might have sorted it  we have to see.

Ture, it still could be loaded in memory or in taskmanager, however that has nothing to do with your router's firewall.  Firewall's either allow or bloke, simple as that.  Unless he logged into his router firewall and bloked the cod tcp or udp gaming protocols, this cannot cause the problem.

If the router is 100% working properly, you are right. I don't know why we have this discussion as this is now sorted and was just suggesting him to start with the basics to have those issues nailed down. Firewalls aren't flawless as other electronic devices.

Hehe that IS cool. I bet you have to do that everyday as I hardly behave sir. Although I am hard to find as I am XRayted all the time.
