I have been getting the BSOD lately more and more , i've updated my drivers and other updates . I'm thinking it's time to spring for a new computer . Any advice that would help wouldbe appreciated. :no:question:

What error do you get?

 

BSODs can stem from a variety of issues, but most frequently it's an issue with hardware (not saying that this is your problem, but it's possible).

could just be your graphics card... i had one die on me slowly like you describe. or even a ram stick could cause it. i would check out the smaller stuff before i spend for a whole new system again.lol.. thats just me though

my mobo is going out get a hard freeze first start of day, i restart and everything is good mostly. my usb's drop you know little gremlins i am going one of these 2 ways

9 out of 10 it's the ram..

 

Yep that's the 1st thing I would check.

 

If you have more than 1 stick of memory,pull them all and check them 1 at a time.

My money is on the RAM as well. Pull all but one and reboot. Play around to see if you BSOD. If not mark that stick as good and take it out and try another. Rinse and repeat.
