I can go in and within a few mins, my monitor goes to sleep and the sound loops. I tried new drivers didn't help it. Anyone have any suggustions. Tell me the video card that you have. one cause could be that the card ramps up and pulls more power than the power supply can deliver. I think the one i put in that computer is a 500 watt. That should be enough but some of the newer video cards are pretty power hungry. If you want to skype me any time we can try to figure this out. I have to hold the button in to shut the pc down. Other games are played on this pc. I let my daughter play some of hers. She plays dishonored and skyrim which are both fairly new games with no problems, I play cod2, cod4 and waw and have no problems . Go to Control Panel->Power Options' date=' click Change plan settings, and change Turn off the display: to Never. The hard drive is also set to turn off after 20 minutes of inactivity, though this should not occur while gaming. This setting is in advanced power settings.
