But it's no fun when the power goes out. Thought about buying a generator but too expensive for the few times we lose power here. Our problem is Appalachian Power Co., which, instead of trimming trees to avoid this shit, waits for a storm to bring down the branches. Last time was three days in a hotel. Blackbart 1 Awards

It's one thing to lose power, but when cold it's dangerous and water lines can freeze in the house. I finally got a generator, even if used a few times per year! Last week a guy was found dead of carbon monoxide poisoning due to not venting generator or using inside! It was 11F here this morning, but only flurries. Awards
