War Thunder still taking the piss

Ok just when i was settling down and begrudgingly accepting these changes they had made to this game when i go in today and get another patch (that's everyday this week i had a patch is that just me?) and i find that not only did they screw us over when they changed the server rankings around ie letting previously higher ranked planes come in and bully the little boys, i now see they are not content with that, i just played with Japanese planes with highest rank being 2 only to be blown away by a Spitfire VB/TROP and fucking King Cobra, just checked both are rank 3 planes, just wtf are these wankers at Gaijin playing at, they may as well just do away with all the server rankings because it's obvious they don't wan't us to play with certain planes, only wan't us to keep spending money on research and buy higher ranked planes, not only that, i also played with German planes today too ie BF109'S we all know how good they are and i find that when i was trying to do sharp quick turns i found that instead i was doing really long slow turns or even worse most of the time when i turned i found that the nose of my plane always seemed to want to go down, so it was a constant fight to keep my plane in the air after a turn, i crashed so many planes already today either into the ground or mountains because i just could not make the turn, my game ain't changed ,i had a good day yesterday, really felt i was getting back on track so i am guessing they are fucking with us again, really pissed off  at the moment.

I dont know what they did, i went to bed last night getting 70 FPS... go in this morning, 19 FPS... rebooted my PC and modem same results. Im waiting for the "Pay your gold eagles for a better connection" button

hmmm... this seems to be on the lines of another game i used to play called Dark Orbit.  Was a great space fighting game, until they buggered with it.  These companies do not know what customer service is any more.  It's all about getting people to spend spend spend.  I spent over 3,000$ over a few years on that other game, and i'll be damed if i will spend another dime to play.  Seems war thunder is going the same route.

Well i just tried the Russian planes and nothing seems to have changed control-wise with them (yet) i still kicked arse in my little Chaika and made decent sharp turns, so i don't really know wtf is going on, unless my wrist and mouse went into melt down with the German and Jap planes i can only think they have altered something, makes you think though, it's a Russian game and the Russian planes are still great while the other seem to be changing, maybe they just trying to sicken us off with the planes so we all go but these fucking tanks when they come out, the tank thing ain't really getting me excited but i will wait and see what they come up with, can't see it being as exciting as flying planes at speed.

Played with my British planes, handling seemed ok, would have done ok in my level 2 server if it wasn't for the fact the other side had 3 KingCobras,  2 Spitfire MKIX, a La 5FN and a Donryu K19 11b late Bomber, all level 3 planes and that was only the ones i was engaged with, so were probably more they i just didn't notice.  Gonna try the German planes again to see if they really are handling differently then normal, or if it was just me.

Same happened over the last year on World of Tanks, pissed me off with the changes, nerfing artillery and tanks, same aim to make you spend money, so I don't play any more.  Its the way of modern gaming guys, I am afraid get used to it is the sentence of the times now!

I for one , just loving the new patch, My game play is much smoother now (less lag for me), yes there are some issues like match making, but, over all is better..They need to get ready for new things to come, so patch was necessary ,,The turns are different now ,read some where that it meant for joystick and not mouse, that's why u see odd turning with mouse like turning with a car .. yes it does dip down, but again,,I find it better to chase faster turning planes as you can dip down and turn right around to chase some one, obvious if you are to low , you will crash into ground..The Germans planes are not bad now too as a matter of fact just tie my record with an 18 kill game 16 of those with both Do 217 . TIER  2..Now I am trying to finish daily challenge to get BOTH Premium planes..Will take some time to get used to it SOB and get better at it again ,but, So does SEX M8..Every time out you learn something new.

My pings gone back to normal, dont know what was going on this morning. Only thing i hate now is the 2 minute maps... had 5 in a row this afternoon. I like to climb away from the pack at the start and get alt advantage, multiple times map is over before i reach 5k. 2-3 YER's and the maps over in 2 min or less. Get excited now for the 3 runway Domination maps LOL

Yup these maps are over way too fast, sometimes i am only getting to use 1 plane and it's not because this plane is kicking everyones arse, i like the fact that there are more targets and that for Bombers but i would have thought that might have made the maps last longer, what i meant about the planes dipping down Chile, it's not so much when i am swooping down on an enemy but more so yesterday it was when an enemy was on my tail, everytime i tried to turn it just seemed as if i was heading to the ground, it was hard work trying to keep the nose up sometimes and before you know it you are really low and it is so hard to gain height and speed again when you are down there, i don't know why this was only happening to the German planes for me, also they have not learned 1 lesson about the matchmaking in the servers, they are giving all the advantages to the more powerful planes by either dropping their ranks so they are only rank 2 now or just letting any fucker into a rank 2 server, this is really my biggest gripe of all, i understand they have to patch it for the tanks but that don't mean they had to mess with the planes and the way they fly, it's just about squeezing more cash out of people, i think they are trying to sicken us off a bit with the planes so we all rush to the tanks and spend more money, then i predict they will do the same thing when the Naval Units appear in the future. I have started playing the single missions now, they have added a load of new missions and they are more of a challenge and with a bit of storyline to them which means you can progress from one mission to the next.

Since the latest patch which is daily now trying to fix what they shouldn't have fuked with in the first place, I connect with server and start the game  with 90 ping and 0 packet loss . .. .within a couple mins packet loss climbs to 100% and "bad connection" on screen then I get booted back to main screen.    Its not as bad on Russian server maybe 5 mins before i get booted but still booted. Reading on the Gayijin website it looks like the servers they are using are overloaded.

 

Because of the ridicules matchmaking and the bombs that dont blow anything up I started flying realistic battles and  custom battles . . . . more action and battles last longer (until the recent bad connection problems) My skills at shootin down the enemy was getting better with the custom battles but it was hard to keep track because of another fuking problem (go figure) that has plagued me from the start. My statistics and achievements are not accurate at all example: I have 4000 + ground kills yet no bomber title, 400+ air kills yet no pilot title and under time played I have like :15 seconds in arcade battles and like :03 seconds in real battles . . no fuking way I'm that good. I have made several attempts to get this corrected with Gayijin and they keep saying they are working on it . . yeah right!       I'm probably getting put at the back of the line since I have been ripping them a fresh asshole on the War Thunder Forums over these patches from HELL!

 

Begin Rant 

 

It's both unfortunate and stupid as hell that a group of game developers got together and made a dream a reality by creating an excellent flying game, it is was very realistic and entertaining to play.  The outlook for the game with the Navel and Tank aspect was very exciting if they paid as much attention to detail as they did with the Airplanes it would by far In my opinion be one of the best games of all time . . . . . .  . .. .  But then STUPID showed up and brought Greed with him  . . the wodka started flowing and now "BAD CONNECTION" !!!

When the Wodka runs out they will see thru their blood shot eyes and pounding headache that everyone has left (except other loyal Russians) they will blame it on Us . . . . the players.

 

If they (Gayijin)  would smoke some Bud instead of drinking wodka they would never experience a "Bad Connection" I can always find some Bud . . . . . . nothing would ever get finished though . . .lol

( a little joke to calm me down . . . .They(Gaijin Gayijin) are so fuking stupid  .I just want to Bitch slap their pretty little Russian faces!)

They have fucked up a brilliant game... That I have given up on completely now I am not the best player but I was averaging 4 kills a round before they fucked with it now I am lucky to get one.

And SOB is right with regards the German planes you go into a dive and try to pull out its bloody hard its like the ground is a big magnet. 

One of my fave tricks when some one on my tail was too go into a dive pull out last min into a vertical stall let them buzz past or run into the back of me  but now I cant because pulling out is not a sure thing anymore

Well guy's I was wondering just how much it would cost to research a plane from scratch converting the free research !!!!! (British plane's)

 

Believe it or not for the Typhoon MK1b/L £10.00 now that's bloody crazy and that is one of the cheaper planes some are almost double this is a complete rip off now...I wont be using my credit card again I can assure you

for me it was also good because for the update i had  over 150 planes in hangar  so not much to research for me

Well the old way we didn't have to research new planes, when you got to a certain rank or bought a previous plane, a new plane was available to buy, now you gotta research a new plane and when you get it you still gotta research all it's perks like Airframe and new guns etc, actually it's going to be quite funny when the tanks actually come out, as tanks were still pretty much in their infancy at the start of WW2, some countries never actually progressed in the tank war at all, like France for instance were still using WW1 tanks, also the Japanese Tanks were very weak and slow and were only used against infantry because they didn't have a cat in hell's chance of killing other tanks, i am really trying to see how they are going to find so many variations of tanks from, even us British were mainly using American Sherman tanks for the last few years of the war, it was only the last few months of WW2 we started seeing anything different really with the German Tiger and Elephant tanks and the USA  Pershing tank, the Russians were doing fine making a shit load of the T-34, so not a lot of change there, so really we are only looking at the Germans Russians and the USA  having anything to offer really...hmm.

Exactly..Nothing to researching planes..Like Skunk says click on plane you want and just play the game with that country..NO need to pay for planes.I did the same thing as Skunk (bought a shit load of planes before patch).Saved me 5 millions in lions and bought as many planes as I could..They let us know that the patch was coming way before it did, somewhat they let you know too that buying planes was going to change,, so you guys had plenty of time to buy them..Yes the game play has change a bit, but, They are still testing some settings and feed back is welcome,,you see they patch it again  soon after, cause some shit was not right, and guess what, they will continue to do so along the way as long as POSITIVE feed back is giving, and the LOVE for the game will come back for yo guys... Remember guys,Still a FREE game is you play your cards right, Way better than paying 60 or so bucks , than pay as you go for map packs.. which is what most of these games are doing now..Have yet to pay for new maps here..

 

I my self have research 4 planes and I am all ready  working on 4 more..So NO issues for me here..

 

P.s.. After buying plane old way you still had to play with plane to unlock shit..same as now, yeah you pay for research , but guess what,,they gave you research points for free..I started with 4.2 million and earning more along the way too..after research is done you pay to unlock it,,not a big deal if you have the lions..(is not that much to buy the perks)...Not really worry about tanks either. I play the game cause of the planes, if I wanted tanks I go to War of tanks..
