Would you prefer CTF mode (right now we only have 1 CTF map in rotation) or Would you prefer to have Commander mode for the other 20 maps we have in rotation? It's always the same people that are going for the flag/bomb/mcom in those three modes. We've been playing without commanders for a while and it's been nice. It allows for more tactical gameplay and you don't have the "wall hacks" that commander offers (I.e.nearly 24/7 uav.) Merc, hypnotik, and I played on a server with commander enabled and there was only one commander (which is how it usually is). This puts another team at a significant disadvantage. There is something rewarding (to me at least) about contributing to your team by UAV scans and ammo drops and team requests, etc. and helping the team accomplish their goals from a different view. But that’s just me, I'd rather heal, drop ammo and help repair that get kills. But either way at least I know what happened to Commander mode. (had the same question up for over a week in the general discussion forum with no responses asking about it), either way good times on your servers. Commander mode is completely broken anyway with I think at best 2 second cooldown between 1 UAV finishing and another becoming ready, also if one team gets a commander and the other doesn't it makes it pretty unbalanced. If the commander mode was the same as BF2 I'd have gone with that but sadly, they made a gimick for people using tablets, I genuinly thought they where going for the same as BF2 but with the addition to the comander of having a tablet to quickly do orders etc on the fly while they still contributed asinfantry in game. I specifically started looking into this because you expressed concern. That led me to find out we are forced to pick Commander or CTF. Perhaps in the future EA will allow CTF mode in rotation with Commander. If they would just allow Commander on CTF it would all be fixed. It doesn't make sense that you can't have both but, apparently that is just how it is. No biggie ya'lls maps rotation and different modes make for great times regardless and yeah you have to keep players coming back, CTF it is.
