can someone tell me when we are getting the freezetag server 1 back as we have been on freezetag server 2 for a week now

 

maps keep freezing on us don't work right we have lost all the players we had we used to have full house most nights now down to 4 players its a bloody joke so we really need some info on whats happening please and when we will get our server back 

 

we feel as though no one cares what happens to this server we have one active h admin who can not be there 24 7 even though I know hes trying to be

 

when the maps stick theres no one to push the server so players leave so please can someone sort this out

 

we only want some stability back as it was

I am on most nights, in MW2 FT which is suffering too, but I'm watching all our other cod4 servers as well even if you can't see me. Add me on xfire (Nitroenforcer) and if you have any dramas contact me or pm me on the clan website, I get email alert when you message and I can sort out any issues within my capabilities.

 

Just because you only see one Admin reguarly does not mean you don't have the support of the rest of cod4 Admin team. We can't be on all our servers at once that's why you are encouraged to add all your game admins on xfire so that you are not relying on the one that reguarly haunts your favourite server. If you cannot get hold of anyone make a post on the website saying what the issue is and someone will fix it. Doing nothing because an Admin is not present then getting upset because it's not fixed is counter productive and ass backwards.

 

Alot of players haven't been on either server because they don't visit the website and therefore have not seen the new ip's for the temp servers so they think they are still timed out. The rest are just impatient for a fix and/or sick of the negative quirks the temp servers are producing.

 

It's being decided what the best course of action is with ft1 and MW2 FT servers whether to change hosts and/or locations to sort the issues out. We need everyone to remain patient, this isn't always a quick process and although it's painfull having your regular gaming interrupted it will be worth it when it's done.

 

I will chase up what's happening and get back to you. Cheers.

Nitro is spot on.

 

Also, there are 20 COD4 admins. Make sure to add all of them on xfire. At least one of them is bound to be online and can help with qny issues.

its ok having the admin  but we can only run so many maps and we are sick of them now we are playing the same maps 3 times over a night

We know you want it back and the maps are shit, we want mw2 back as well! these are temp servers so that at least you have somewhere to play while the issues get sorted even if they aren't exactly what you want. Going on about it is not going to make it speed up. I have explained to you what i know, i have now made a post to get some updates for you all.  In the mean time please be patient we are all going through this together remember? When i get a reply from senior level i will report back to this thread and let you know any updates. Just understand the "fix" is not simple nor quick.

The issues have been tended to since the day we got the DDOS attack and we had to put temp servers up, its never stopped being looked into, just because you don't know whats happening doesn't mean nothing is happening. It will get done because your Admins know there are issues. So you're telling me that you think the cod4 admins wont fix problems without everyone constantly reminding us? Do you not think that we too are regular players of these two problem servers and also want it fixed? We have pushed the issue up to the seniors and they are trying to sort this out. If we haven't told you any updates on the situation then its because we still haven't been updated ourselves. We trust the Senior team to sort it just as we need everyone to trust the game admins that we are doing something to get these to servers back to normal.

 

I have been here nearly 5 years, that's nearly 260 weeks. In that time i have had to deal with 2 weeks of problems/downtime so far. 2 weeks in 260 is roughly just over 1% of the total time. That is not a bad ratio for playable/not playable. We want it back to normal as well but some issues need more than a click of the fingers to fix.

 

Nothing said or done? You do realize that all the Admins of varying degrees donate their time to this clan for free right? We have lives, jobs, family's like everyone else. Sometimes it seems like nothings happening because those things come first. You would be amazed how much playing/life  time we loose when we take up this job so that the clan can run the best we can get it to. Things don't happen overnight in this situation especially when we have teams over multiple time zones, but in the end it does happen i can assure you.

 

In any case as i said earlier i have made a post pushing your concerns (and ours) to the Senior level and i will update you as soon as i hear back from them.

 its not admin attention we need just a server that will a full map rotation without getting stuck

 and if you bump past it it will get stuck again

Map has be rotated. You do need Admins as was just demonstrated. We know what you need concerning the server and it will be provided asap when we are able to fix it.

If there is a problem with that one map then i will make a post to remove it.  You said it was stuck so i rotated it. If its always getting stuck then i will make a post to remove it, no problem.

if you bump it it fixes nothing thats why i said thanks for nothing as in you haven't fixed anything.

Server does not run full rotation because of it .

If you would please inform someone of such competence to fix it that would be appreciated.

I said that because you said "thanks for nothing" how do you think that made me feel? I just took time out from what i was doing to come and swap the map for you and all you say is thanks for nothing? I was emphasizing the fact that had i done nothing you wouldn't have any maps to play and you should at least appreciate that.

As i have already said, i have made a request to have the map removed and i rotated it so you can continue to play until it gets done. If you hate the maps and want  a new rotation then a new one can be made by @@dadda2 and swapped for the existing one.

The original servers are being looked into by the Senior team. I have skipped the stuck map and requested the map to be removed, Dadda2 will remove it when he see's my post. He will also see my comment about swapping entire rotation so that will be your opportunity to speak up about that to him then.

 

 

Your post suggests i am a bad Admin and i am incompetent. You may want to look at your own attitude before accusing me of mine. You do not know me, you do not know what i do for the clan behind the scenes  so you do not have the right to suggest or say i am  a bad Admin or an incompetent one.

As an admin you should read posts carefully and slowly and be slow to speak to make sure you have read it  interpreted it and come to a reasonable answer .

slow down read slow and be patient with an answer that way you don't have to say oh i missed that or i didn't read that.

 

that way you don't take things wrong and have to correct yourself.

 

Admins are appreciated and do alot. but just telling people sit down shut up and wait without hearing the whole problem doesn't help.

I miss read your post so now you are trying to school me on how to conduct myself? Have you never made a mistake, misread something or had to correct yourself? Give me a break lol. No one told anyone to sit down and shut up. I said politely to be patient that we are waiting to hear back from the Seniors so we have something to tell you. The amount of times we get asked all these same questions by the same players everyday is enormous, but we still cant give an answer till we know. I understand its frustrating but we still need everyone to keep hanging in there.

Yes i agree that it can feel like that, in fact this last week and a bit has felt like two months for most of us. The lack of answers is an issue and im sorry for that, i have made a request to the Seniors for some answers so that we have something to tell you, beyond that we are all in the dark. With any luck i will get some answers within the next 6-7 hours so that i can report back to you before i shutdown to sleep. I will keep on them until i have something for you. Until then lets get this map sorted an/or a new rotation in for you guys to play on. Would you rather mod maps or stock for the interim while we wait for things to normalise? I ask this because there will be far less issues with a stock rotation on this temp server than a mod map rotation.

All I can say is "wow".  Nitro your awesome, nice patience.  Guys, lighten the fuck up, it being worked on and Nitro is doing what he can to make the "GAME" run ok for the temp prob.  This is a "GAME" and its a temporary problem.  Relax, sit back, play in the temp servers if ya wanna, and fucking relax.
