Sorry for the caps! It sounds to me like you were playing on a hardcore server which usually means you die instantly when shot and it kinda rewards camping and snipers. Did you try our normal server, I am a run and gunner myself and normal definitely sounds like it will help you with your concerns. normal mode has 3d spotting which allows you see to people at much farther distances, it also has a kill cam so that when you die to someone, you know who and where he was. You also can take more bullets which gives you a lil more time to pinpoint who is shooting you or to get into cover. Before the conquest server gets packed (mornings and early afternoon) we run Domination maps, which are similar to conquest, but the maps are much tighter quarters, and all infantry. that way you don't have to run for 10 minutes. And you should come and try again with us. get in a squad, make sure someone is running medic to revive. Also the last patch has changed how the guns work, and made a lot of improvements to the game overall. I am a run and gunner also, and i'm not the best but i usually come out with a 1 k/d or so... Lol... The general chat is just generally annoying to me and I frequently move to the tactical channel or mute and deafen. If I remain in the general channel when there is like 7-10 people on, I end up wanting to punch a baby lol. Anyways, yes if I'm on and odds on and we have a squad going, we will normally be in the tactical channels and anyone is free to join . When we play on the softcore and are squaded up in TS there is plenty of teamwork that goes on. yesterday I was leading one squad, and phud, oneill, and sicarius were in another squad. we were communicating well, and it helped us win a couple rounds. not sure about eh EU server. I don't play there enough to judge it. but US yea we communicate. Though I have to admit on this round I did all the work. MVP and the only bomb delivery. sheesh guys.
