One of the best things I did to improve my game was to get rid of the "Hello Kitty" mouse pad and go with a gaming mouse mat. A consistent pattern on a larger smooth mat gives you much more accuracy...especially when sniping.  

Here is the one I use...and it's only 13 dollars...

I have actually the exact same mouse pad and its perfect. Steelsteries are meant to make excellent mouse pads

I use the razer vespula.... took a little to get used to but now I have trouble using my work computer with out it

I agree, a gaming pad especially a larger one gives you more room to get wild with the mouse without hitting an edge and also has better surface and texture for your lazer to read and mouse to glide on.

 

I was going to upgrade my thermaltake mouse but i decided to upgrade the pad first. I got the razor Goliathus XL and it made a big enough difference that I still have the same mouse. :thumbup:
