1st off excellent  product-

but most shops survive and thrive on return customers.if i only saw them once a year id be out of business

Repair shops  servicing vehicles you want that car in 4 times more in a year so you can make money off other needed servicing and repairs so unless i have a performance only shop its not that attractive

Amsoil is great.... but like all synthetics the molecules are all the same size and very smaller compared to conventional oil where the molecules very in size.

 

If your car leaks oil don't put synthetic in it... it will leak even more. I could not get the drain plug in my 89 Honda to stop dripping after swithced...... switched back to conventional and dripping stopped.

The only way I would used Amsoil is if I started using it after the engine was broke in and I expected to keep the car for a very very long time like 15 years or more. Plus I would want the added filter system that adds 1 to 2 quarts of oil to the system. 

Otherwise every 3000 miles.

But Why waste the money to change oil every 3k miles? youre spending so much more money on having someone else do it. and having oil that will not last you as long. @@Damage_inc- How about I get you setup with a retail account and try to get people to purchase AMSOIL when people start seeing they can go longer then they will tell other and you can get more and more customers. Also oil is not the only thing we have for sale. we have many many other products as well. and @@hxtr are you putting your drain plug on tight enough? I have Amsoil in my car, @@LandShark car and my fiancés car and neither of them leak any oil. I think you gentlemen should give it a try. 100% synthetic oil will be better for any vehicle you put it in. Purchase it, try it out. and if you are not satisfied then I will return the money to you. I believe in the product that much.

It's just a fact about Synthetic.. the moicules are perfect and small. My car was old and some fuck over tighned my drain plug once causing the drip. Not going to retap or replace my drain plug just to run synthetic for it a good thing to put in older cars for any reason. Not good to change the weight and sometimes oil brands as well.
 

I change my own oil and I would never feel comfortable leaving OIL in my cars for 50,000 miles. Gas enters the oil due to the combustion which help cause viscosity changes. Does Amsoil break down in that environment maybe not but I like the dirt and gas removed from my oil.

 

I have only had one car to ever have engine problems and it was my fault. I changed from 5w30 to 10w30... big mistake as I blew a rod. Don't change your oil weight. Keep in it what comes with it unless a new car. Then change your oil to synthetic. 

 

With cars it is everything else that breaks not the engine itself unless you abuse it due to lack of maintenance or other stupid shit like I did.

awesome product-  but i do about 4k oil changes average a year and maybe 5 people a year ask what brand oil we put in-its about cost nowadays-even less ask what brake pad we use-its almost nonexistent-all about the best price or how you maintain great customer relationships nowadays-thats a specialty product that is fabulous for the rite niche-id go after every performance shop if i were you or heavy truck shops -off road/muscle and race car markets are your gold mine-

@@Damage_inc- I bet we could add more to how many oil changes you do now if you tell them that with one oil change will lst you a minimum of 15k miles. For my cruze the only thing that is recommended is to change the filter at 7.5k miles. But that's because it is a cartridge filter and not a spin on. The spin on filter can actually get you to 25k miles and not have to change the filter again until that 25k miles is over. You tell people that and word spreads fast. which means youll be the only shop that offers the best 100% synthetic oil in town meaning you will have more people flock to your door. On top of that AMSOIL will not void any warranty that one may have.

As for engine flush... I use Automatic Transmission fluid. Replace one quart and let it run. Some drive on it but not necessary just get her nice and hot and run it for a while. Then drain and flush with new oil and then change oil and filter.

 

The high detergents used to keep the Automatic Transmission clean do a great job on an engine.

 

And I dont want to wait till debris is in my car.. note. Preventive.. not reactive.

No one is talking about 50k miles here man. I personally would recommend a flush every oil change. after 15k miles you will have some junk. But I wouldn't ever use ATF as an engine flush. theres a reason they make an oil and transmission flush. that's what its meant for.

My 2000 Honda Hatchback XI leaks oil. Until I do my clutch I am not going to fix the seal. I add a half a quart every 2 gas ups usually. How much will that cost me a year?

Why would you not flush? @@BUDMAN when you run your engine you end up getting metal flaking. the flush helps loosen all the junk and when you go to drain out the old oil all of that junk comes out with it.

I have owned New and Old cars. I cant afford new cars so thats when I flush.

 

If I get a new car... I will never ever ever ever need to flush like my 89 Accord. The engine was perfect. Not a spot of tarnish. Zero reason to flush. 

 

People that neglect their engines may need to flush.

 

Some cars have seals that.. the so called FLUSH.. is nothing but diesel fuel with more detergents in it.

 

Im not putting diesel fuel in my engine. That is old old school. We learned to change our oil every 3000 so that is not necessary.

build up (sludge) it comes loose and settles 

in bottom of oil pan.....then stops up

oil pick up screen.

It does not all come out when you drain

No with AMSOILs Engine and Transmission Flush Kit will loosen up all of that sludge and dispose of it when you go to drain. you only run run the flush for about 15 mins and then immediately drain. The flush breaks loose all the sludge and uses detergents to SUSPEND and DISSOLVE the deposits so they don't get picked up by anything. So yes when you use the flush it will all drain out of your pan. Also manufacturers don't warranty their engines passed 100k miles. Which at that point is where you normally start to see negligence of engine maintenance. But if theres a need to do a flush not doing one is way more harmful than doing one. Using seafoam or adding diesel will not disperse and suspend the sludge only dislodge it. Theres a reason why there is a flush kit made. That is its job to dissolve and suspend all the sludge.
