But it's not like they fucked up a release date, right? It's a closed/open beta, so things might go wrong here and there. Anyways, they plan to launch open beta today 10am est/3pm gmt. But it seems that plans have stalled with the beta due to multiple issues. The announcement was made on the Ubisoft forums, and the problems with the open beta pointed to connectivity and matchmaking issues across all three platforms. As such, the developers will prioritize these issues and continue to improve the game. For now, the game is still in its closed beta status, so only those who were able to play an early version of the game before the open beta will still be able to play it. However, Ubisoft isn't going to throw out the open beta session completely, saying it will postpone the event until a later date. There's still time before the release next Tuesday, but even that could bring about new problems so close to the final version. They probably still have some small issues with servers, but comparing to closed beta - everything is pretty much fixed. It's a very different game to Battlefield and Call of Duty Murda, was going to say it's a lot slower but as you have to finish each mission in 5 minutes then perhaps slower is not correct, what i mean is it's not run n gun, you can do it if you want but you will last about 30 seconds, it's 5v5 one team either trying to rescue hostage or diffuse a bomb, the other team defending, it is usually the first team to win the best out of 5 games but sometimes it goes on longer, you really do have to cooperate with your squad and use all your operators special abilities, that's why it will be so much better playing with people you know and getting together in TS because sometimes your team is made up of a lot of different nationalities and team chat is a bit strange with many times nobody understanding the rest of the team which does make cooperation a bit difficult, i am finding this game really hard especially in the ranked servers. Not deathmatch 16vs16 servers, but 5v5 CS gameplay made much more realistic and thought through. Anyways. Yes.
