Heffalump

Also, Raymond E. Feist is good, bought and read the lot, a nice back catalogue to plow through.

I will have to agree with Heff on this one for fantasy books, i have read 99% of Raymond E. Fiest entire catalog missing only some stand alone novels and loved everyone of them.

david eddings, "the Belgariad" and "the Mallorean" series

Kim Harrison i know i know, its witches/vamps/weres, mixing with humans but tbh brutaly honest, i have read the 8 books twice in 3 months after finding them, and reading the 3rd one first, went and bought the set in one go. cant put the blasted things down

Stephen R. Donaldson...First three books in the Thomas Covenant series. Lord Foul's Bane, The Illearth War, The Power that Preserves. Couldn't put them down when I was younger. I even insisted on a white gold wedding ring when I got married...lol.

Roger Zelazny... Lord of Light. Might have to read it through twice to understand the timeline. Joe Haldeman...The Forever War. Great science fiction. Orson Scott Card...Ender's game, short story first, then series. Another great science fiction plot.

Someone earlier mentioned Terry GoodKind. His Sword of truth series is amazing! Was not so pleased with the final book, felt a bit rushed, but the series in itself was a great read

well..if ya like epic fantasy...and blood and gore. George R.R. Martin's "song of fire and ice" series is brilliant. The author didnt hold back...didnt care if some where offended by his brutal writing.  though hes taking his time writing the last book of the series. its still a must read. And for those who like Stephen King." Under the Dome" is  one of his latest books...and is very good.  and Stephine Meyer...the author of the Twilight series. her book "The Host" is also a great read. And Patrick Rothfuss's "the name of the wind" is his first book in a series thats still in its early stage, and im waiting for the next one to be published is also a great book.

oh im sure you believe the forum of how a redneck met four coeds. and screwed them all behind a dumpster behind the McDonalds is a great read. but open yer mind Chile...and read a book without pictures :o) and unlike a penthouse. real books require you to hold the book with two hands..and not prop it up against the back of yer toilet to read :o)
