These is for the computer gurus in our clan.

For the last few days, when I open my emails (yahoo.com), I get the following message at the bottom of my email screen: (would you like to open/save  "eSQ1zrkb.js/vident.andbeyond.media".  I always delete it or cancel it.

I have not had any problems (that I know off) and after checking Microsoft and the web, I have not been able to come up with a way to delete or disable this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Frustrated PAPI!!!!!

If your using chrome or firefox

download ccleaner (free)

http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner

you can simply delete the browser in control panel / programs

run ccleaner

reboot

run (built in ) windows defender

then re-install your browser once windows is cleaned up

Few things... first change your password in Yahoo. They were recently hacked.  You can also do what Damit says and use Outlook.com or live.com or hotmail.com email. Same place.

Download the  CCleaner, Malwarebyte and SuperAntiVirus.

Run CCleaner first as talked about above.
https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download

https://www.malwarebytes.com/mwb-download/

I would recommend registering this one for future but you dont have to just don't activate the trial.

http://www.superantispyware.com/
Don't start the trial just use the free.

Scan with both Malwaybytes and Super to see if you see a problem. If just tracking cookies dont worry. If other let us know. Screen shot or log will work.

To stop the tracking cookies and advertising do this in Chrome.

In Chrome install the following.

AD Block.. blocks ad's.

Ghostery... blocks trackers

https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/ghostery/mlomiejdfkolichcflejclcbmpeaniij?hl=en

To control Flash install this.

Flash Control.

and if you can make a screen shot of your programs installed. Control Panel - Programs and Features. List is by install date and list the newest things installed for the past year or so. Look for things like Coupons stuff like that.

Almost sounds like to use the internet you need triple protection minimum. A condom. A diaphram. A pill for one night stands. And monthly birth control pills. And even then it might not be enough. Oh and be sure you have medical insurance.... assuming you dont live in a country with a stick up its ass... to deal with things if all else fails.

Ditch Yahoo, Gmail, Outlook.com, Hotmail etc.

If you want an email account that isn't breached every five minutes, have a look at Fastmail.

It isn't free but you get what you pay for...

Thanks for all your suggestions.  I really appreciate it.  Will be doing all things mentioned to see if it works.  Only thing I would like to do is keep my yahoo email account.  I have already changed the password.

Will report later.

Thanks again
