Shit it might take me 3 days to get to my new destination. " Crossing 2 solid yellow lines: $500" I would claim I was color blind. They looked like white lines to me officer Aee? " Driving too slow: $399 " I never been accused of that. I should get a bonus for thew way I drive then. "Driving without insurance cause an accident: $5000 and licence suspended for 5 years" Here in Texas you go strait to jail. Too many uninsured illegals (whoops can I say that). "Fail to turn on head lights (30 minutes) before dark: $200" Cool as long you can get your fix for 30 driving in the dark. " Holding and/or using cell phone while driving (1st time): $1000 and licence suspended for 3 days" Sorry Boss... you shouldn't of called me on the way to work because I was late. Now I can't drive for 3 days. See you Monday. Edit.. crap I wasn't done.... " Not carrying drivers licence: $250" I can't say it but it starts with ill then ends with egals. Anther go strait to jail here. "Passing school bus when lights are flashing: $885 " I think here they just shoot you.. no sure. " Run a red light: $900" What if the light is pink. Some are not very red. Reminds me of a joke. This guy got a lift from a coworker.. as they go the guy speeds through a red light. The passenger says, "what did you do that for? Drive says, "Oh my brother does it all the time." They come to a another red light and zoom he runs the light again. The passenger said says, "you ran the light again". Driver says, don't worry my brother does it all the time. They continue on and all the sudden the driver slams his breaks and stops at a green light. The passenger ask, "why did you stop, the light it green"? Drive says, "oh yea.. my brother might be coming." " Speeding (from 1 - 15km over): $250 Speeding (from 16 - 26 over): $450 " Well there goes my bonus. Edited January 16, 2019 by hxtr

Now I can't drive for 3 days. See you Monday. They have just upped the penalties here, but you still see as many on the phone as there are no police now to catch them, politicians love to be important here making laws that cannot be enforced. We pay extra on our insurances to pay for accidents with uninsured drivers (and hence untaxed, and likely no licence) where the fine is a tiny fraction of insurance costs and that is why they risk it, we suspend their licences even if they don't have one??, how does that work? So you have it better than us by a long way.

I totally agree with the people that simply have to text while driving are a huge problem, but if you are talking hands free ( what I do when I am driving to who ever wants to actually talk to me ) is that now wrong also? I go to Canada a few times a year and need to know this shit. hxtr 1 Awards

I don't care who you are, you are not that important that you need to touch your phone every 2 seconds. A lot of people are getting hurt or killed down here and I would not want to be the one to tell a mother they killed their child while sending a poop emoji to a friend Angelz and Hunter1948 2 Awards

Since we are headed into a robotic era that is going to replace all the humans on this planet due to greedy share holders. I don't think anyone is going to be able to afford to buy anything. No jobs, no income, no purchasing. Oh what a wonderful future we have coming! Hunter1948 1
