I know, sounds crazy but looks GREAT Currently, you have white spindles... paint them black (or gunshot metal grey) and they will look like metal spindles. Could leave the banister part as is, see how that looks with the lighter wood color up and the black spindles. The entire house is textured, including the ceiling. Which makes it annoying every time we’ve repainted. On the other hand, this is the last time we have to paint this house.
