  1. Hey buddy! Just one thing. Have you think about save money and at same time being more effective? I would recommended to you put that Conan server in a Raspberry PI 4 or 5. Why? I can tell you i have been running servers for Quake, Doom , Cod and Mohaa games, also RTCW and Enemy Territory in Raspberry 3 and 4 and they did an excellent job for long time. The Raspberry Pi is great for gamers who want to save money. Unlike a regular gaming server setup that can cost a lot of money, you may get a Raspberry Pi for as little as $35 for older models or $60 for the more powerful Raspberry Pi 5. This means you can spend more on games, peripherals, or upgrades a tiny but mighty single-board computer (SBC) packed with power. It’s affordable, doesn’t use much power, and can do it all. Whether you’re a beginner or a tech pro, the Raspberry Pi is the perfect choice for building a budget-friendly gaming server Raspberry Pi doesn’t need a lot of fancy add-ons to work as a gaming server. You just need a power supply, a microSD card, and an Ethernet or Wi-Fi connection. If you need extra storage or cooling, you can get them cheaply and easily. Even better, building your gaming server using the Raspberry Pi 5 will allow you to use fast SSD storage modules. Running a gaming server 24/7 can be tough on your wallet, especially if you’re using a regular PC. But the Raspberry Pi is a game-changer. It’s super energy-efficient, usually using just 3 to 10 watts, depending on the model. That means you can save a ton of money on electricity while still keeping your server online and ready for action. Setting up a gaming server with a Raspberry Pi is a breeze, even for those who haven't worked with one before. To get started with gaming in general, you can use RetroPie, Recalbox, or Minecraft Pi Edition. Just download an image, flash it onto an SD card, and boot up the Pi. The Raspberry Pi is compatible with several Linux-based operating systems, so it can also support a variety of game servers. Minecraft and Terraria servers work well on the SBC, and smaller Palworld servers are also possible. And the best part? The Raspberry Pi has a huge community of users who are always ready to help. You can find forums, YouTube tutorials, and other resources to help you troubleshoot, optimize, and expand your gaming server setup. One of the most extraordinary things about using a Raspberry Pi as a gaming server is that it lets you play games with people on different devices. For example, you can play Minecraft with friends on PCs, consoles, and even phones. This means you can all play together, no matter what kind of device you have. This also means you don’t have to worry as much about what kind of computer or phone you have. You can just connect to the server and play. Plus, you won’t have to pay for a third-party hosting service. You can just use your Raspberry Pi and have a great time playing games with your friends (or enemies). And finally, you can host the game, but also a website, discord server, or any team speak server forums and etc that you will need for that project. The cost, the efficiency and the power that a Raspberry has in unbeatable at this range. So my advice before you spend lots money in hardware, lines, and so on, take a look the Raspberry 4 or 5 to consider for your project. Anyways, here you can find a guide to how to set up the Conan Exiles server as an example, and if you look this, will see other options like a VBS server you can just rent for a ridiculous price monthly, or even do it yourself with control panel and all set up in Linux if you decide go that way. https://www.hostinger.com/tutorials/conan-exiles-dedicated-server-setu Greetings!

  2. Man, that beast turned into a violent wedge so quickly!! On bad weather days, I watch Ryan Hall Y'all on YouTube. He live streams with meteorologists & storm chasers for over 12 hours straight if needed, & gets warnings out faster than any weather station or service. His main meteorologist- Andy Hall- analyzes & explains radar signatures along storm fronts the whole duration, & consistently anticipates & issues severe thunderstorm & tornado warnings to the audience before the National Weather Service. It's truly uncanny. His team also helps with disaster relief assistance through his nonprofit before FEMA arrives.

  4. https://youtu.be/Ispu4lD2CqM?si=iCQ944GPW-qxsGMa This was filmed by a storm chaser. It started just southwest of my city in a neighboring city and made its way through another town 9 miles away before hitting mine. At the end of the video there are 2 white 18 wheelers. The chaser says that both made it safely out of the path but unfortunately 1 did not.

  5. Hello everyone, some of you already know, but I think I need to mention it again. I have COPD (now on oxygen) and my voice doesn't always work the way I'd like. The cough and ESPECIALLY my medicine (cortisone) are attacking my vocal cords. If I don't say anything, it's not because I don't want to, but because I CAN'T. But there's no need to be rude right away. It's as if I'm hoarse, or sometimes my voice breaks off in the middle of a sentence. Or I speak loudly and my voice comes back right then. Thanks for reading Jenny / Cheyenne

how are you moving self with U-haul or trailer and vechicle, have checked with pods this i found info last year to compare your choice. I just moved 2300 miles using PODs, here is what I learned. Experience & Tips I moved from Cincinnati to Seattle about a month ago and figured I would share my experience/what worked or didn’t work here. After researching a lot of moving companies I decided to use a POD shipping container. Overall I’m happy with how things went, but here is the breakdown of pros and cons: PRO: Cheap - total cost including 1 month of storage was just under $3,000. I got the largest size pod (16 feet) for a 1200 sqft apartment. This was more than enough, I could have gone smaller and saved money. Reliable - I was not at all worried about some sketchy moving company “having their truck break down” or handling my stuff poorly. That being said, YOU are responsible for making sure your stuff arrives safely. I spent a long time packaging all my breakables and used a ton bungee cords and ratchet straps to fully secure my things in the pods. Everything arrived in good shape, sans one broken dresser leg (pack you dresser upside down!) Storage - I was not comfortable finding a rental sight unseen, so I stored my pod for a month ($200) and lived in a furnished apartment I found on furnishedfinder while looking for a place. This allowed me to see 10+ apartments in person and I ended up with a place I’m really happy with. CONs Delivery - if you’re moving to a dense city it is very possible you will not be able to get your pod delivered. To deliver it they need a space 12ft wide, 40ft long, and 15 (really 16) feet of vertical clearance. I found a rental with a driveway, and was thinking “sweet this will be easy!”. I scheduled my delivery but when the guy showed up he couldn’t drop off the pod due to some low hanging telephone wires. In some places you can get permits to put it in street parking spots, they also offer a street delivery where they will park it on a road for 4 hours while you unload it, which costs $599. I ended up hiring a moving company to go to the pod storage facility, unload my pod and deliver my things to me. This added $730 to my total cost, bringing it to about $3500 Labor - you will be loading and unloading everything yourself. It’s going to be hard if you have a lot of furniture and you will likely need help so just remember to include that while comparing costs. Task rabbit is great for this. TIPS Use moisture removers, especially if you are planning to store your pod. I bought 5 hanging ones for closets and they were all completely full when it arrived. Use moving blankets to protect furniture Pack all of your boxes fully so you can stack them to the top of the pod. While packing write heavy/bottom or light/top so you know how to layer them in the pod. Place wooden furniture with their legs pointing up. *someone in the comments said this isn’t a good idea. The movers I hired told me it would have prevented the damage for my specific dresser, YMMV However many straps you think you need… use more. Hope this is helpful to someone, happy moving! Edit to add more info from the comments: Uhaul Ubox is another good option that may be even cheaper The 16ft pods have a weight limit of 4,200 lbs, the smaller pods have higher weight limits Get as many of the same size boxes as you can for the best stacking Note : packing books use liquier boxes go to locale hopstial and ask for the medicial carboard boxes for dishes with white packing so not to wash the ink off news print or use news paper an wash dishes, can use it for filler on bottom and each layer of dishes with cups around plates bunch paper in crinkle balls. 2300Mi you 724 Mi i see is less distance above, and person is correct turn over furnature or use a saw and 2x4 (stacked making 4x4) to support legs and nail to floor only like a pedisile with wood in T form is way and heavy piceses and more to even the load bearing on bottom. correct brace with rachet straps for pod is 50° angle loading so pack it tight to the door make a plywood wall and fill the space infront of plywood with blankets old sheets. Note barn doors for a roll-up need to use 4x4 in X pattern on the plywood so not to jam the roll-up door with 4x4 fit tight against door frame happy moving day, make sure nothing move inside pod like vacuum pack.

    Have to ask you guys

FYI, as it's unsupported for long time, no need to create an account. Just click the 'offline' button when you run it. Add your favorite servers and away you go.

  10. Hi All, We had some serious issues with our Conan server host in the last few weeks and I moved to a new host that also borked our server. I'm seriously thinking of just buying a dedicated server to host the game from home. After a little research I did a build out on PC Parts Picker and would like any and all advice for parts. Let me know if you have a better hardware buildout? The storage is my left over drive from last update. Here is my PC Parts Picker build idea: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/jwestbur/saved/#view=jPMYLk

This has been taken care of. There has been many videos gathered for review over several days by several admins of all suspect players. WE owe it to ALL ACCUSED to be positive and correct in our decisions. We do not make these decisions lightly. Sometimes it may take a little longer but in the end rest assured the admin team are constantly/quietly watching and listening. We also try and have a little fun while at it. Videos are gathered and reviewed by the team. We also really appreciate our members and Nonmembers sending us videos and information. Personally I choose not to comment in detail while in open mic regarding actions being taken by the Admin team. Yesterday everyone working together proved to be a great asset. Thanks to everyone. Cheers Weed
