This P-38 was with the Corsair at this years Duxford Flying Legends, missed it as was busy, and missed the Duxford Airshow this weekend due to shitty rainy weather The guy who owns Reb Bull has an amazing collection of planes, rich bastard lol! www.hangar-7.com/en/the-flying-bulls/aircraft/

It looked like they were spinning different directions. My line control model only rotates one way? LOL

That was before COD... i played an online WWII flying game with my Dad calle Fighter Ace. We played for years, was like COD in the sky. Got to fly Spit 9's and 14's, Lightnings, Corsairs, Zeros, Jacks, 109k's (my fav) had squads and everything just like COD... but got too expensive to play. $30 a month. For my 18th b-day my Dad paid for me to go up in a 2 seater Harvard training plane, THAT was a blast! Dad and i are both right into the WWII airplanes. His Dad flew a Halifax outta Melbourne in the Shiny 10 squad during WWII Awards

German ME-109 was a great plane as well. I believe that the P-38 was used exclusively in the Pacific Theater. Awards

On these glass panels 2/3rds around the Americn Air Museum are plane silouhettes of each US of A plane lost in WW2 in Europe, quite sombering when you see the thousands of images around the building.
