Interesting match up this weekend

Detroit Lions (2-0) versus Minnesota Vikings (0-2)

Hmm. Lions just won by the biggest margin in franchise history, and the Vikings have blown double digit half time leads both games.

But the Lions haven't won at the Metrodome since '97 and they blew out a very bad KC team

So what do you Minnesota guys (or girls) think?

I think it will be Lions by a Field goal, then off to Dallas to beat up on the Cowboys and home for Monday night against a very average Bears team.

I would love them to be 5-0. I know that is unrealistic, but as Laz says, it has been a long time since we had any kind of football winner in Detroit. The last good season I remember was 1991, when they went to the Championship game, after annihilating the Cowboys 38-6, I think it was.

Of the 3 upcoming games, the one that worries me most is the Vikings.

Let's see - Go Lions

The Vikings are dead, not because the Lions have improved but because McNabb is their QB.

He failed in Philly, washed out in Washington and now he is the rope around the Vikings neck.

The Vikings go no where until they bench or release McNabb.

Viking fans do have hope though, Ndamukong Suh may do it for them, the man is a beast. He might break McNabb in two.

Well, who would have thought the Lions could have pulled it off, down 20-0 at half time.

Looks like my "Lions by a field goal" was pretty accurate.

The Bills also won (against the Patriots, no less). The end of the World is surely upon us!!!!!

Yeah, it's Crack's team

Also mine, and Lazslo's and Johnny Dos's to name a few

I am a long time supporter, not like all the "band wagoners" that suddenly think they are going to the Superbowl. I am still cautious as I remember 2007 when they started 6-2 and didn't even make the playoffs by losing 7 of the next 8 games.

This team does look a lot better though and they are winning on the road (2-0 so far) so I think they will do good.

McNabb had his day in like 98 and then he held us down for the next decade with his constant injuries ,bad throws and double clutching Westbrook (love and miss Westy, 49'rs now).  The whole time I just wanted Cunningham back. You can always count on McNabb to give it all of his 10% he needs the other 90% to power that smile of his lol

I do miss Westbrook and Dawk. LeSean McKoy has eased the loss of Westbrook but no one has yet replaced Dawkins.

Freakin Eagles sucked today, wasted 3 hrs watching them when I could have been gaming or spamming.

Your right, Dawkins was definately a powerhouse to our defense and we could use him right now for sure, I hope we can get our defense back to what it once was. Defense is really needing some work right now, real bad.

LeSean (shady) McCow is the man Cool

Unfortunately I'm not local to Philly (Washington State) so I don't get to see all the games and I didn't see the Giants game today due to another issue. But Vic has to heal, that head blow from that little munchkin jerk #23 of the Falcons that doesn't know how to spell Dante (lol) combined with the broken hand has set us back a few weeks I think.  But they'll get it back together, Giants are a tough team they had a tough job today, imo.

Their gonna bounce back they always do, defense defense defense. Go Eagles!

Time for Steelers game now woohoo
