Nothing AT ALL against A&M..... a great school with a great tradition, no question. But A&M is NOT a Southeastern school. This just shows how college football is now being perverted for $$$$, as bad as the NFL. I used to be an NBA fan.... but it went to shit with all the money money money. I used to be a RABID NFL fan.... but it went to shit with all the money money money. Screw the NBA and NFL now. No tradition, no team loyalty, free agency... it's all about $$$, hip-hop culture, and marketing/television revenue....... and that sucks ass. That ain't football, it's commercialism. The SEC's definitive tradition, is that of SouthEastern rivalries. Georgia/Florida (World's largest outdoor cocktail party), Tennessee/ Alabama (Third Saturday in October), LSU/ Florida, LSU/ Alabama, Auburn/LSU, Tennessee/ Florida, Mississipi/ Ole Miss, and The Iron Bowl - Auburn/ Alabama - the Mighty Iron Bowl (I went last year - what a fucking GAME, what a PURE football environment.... the pure *essence* of college football!!!). The SEC Championship Game INVARIABLY has Natioanl Championship implications. We OWN college football. No offense meant, but its true. SEC football is Big-Boy land. I don't blame A&M for wanting to play against the best - if I were A&M's Athletic Director, I would give my left nut to get into the SEC. But I hope they are ready for a regular conference schedule that will kick their asses. An "average" SEC team will kick the shit out of most other conference champions. No offense meant, but it's true. A&M will be in the SEC West. LSU, Alabama, Auburn every year. Their ""easy" Eastern Conference games will be with Florida, Tennessee, Georgia, & S. Carolina. Enjoy THAT. Ya better get some Kevlar jock-straps. Texas, OK, California, Michigan & Nebraska have some good footbal, no doubt about it.... but it doesn't hold a candle to the SEC. Yes, I am biased. Tennessee Alumni, Vol fan forever, UT season ticket holder, GO BIG ORANGE. Yes, we are average this year. We (as usual) beat the fuck out of other conerence teams, but will struggle in the brutal SEC. The winner of the SEC West WILL be the National champions this year. Imagine that. Since there is nothing I can do about it, I guess I welcome A&M to the SEC fold. It ain't right, but it is what it is. The sellout of the last PURE sports environment in America, for $$$$$ and network contracts. Maybe Oklahoma, Michigan, USC, Notre Dame and Stanford will join the SEC soon. As American sports tradition goes down the toilet, so does America. Sad.

LOOOOL.....BTW.....GIG E'M AGS thank you Gorilla!! See, at least I have an Ape on my side! Look, I will grant you the fact that the SEC is "Currently" the best conference - in football anyway, and maybe even Baseball , not basketball or other sports. Actually, A&M hels out the SEC to look even better in Baseball. But that is just how it is at the moment. Look back at the history of College Football. OK, yeah, you tide Bandwaggoners will love seeing Alabama on top of the list below, but look at the other names on the list. First name on the list is SEC - yeah, 'Bama has had some awesome teams, no doubt and I concede that....but keep looking down the list. You have to drop to number 9 before you get to the next SEC team. And before you get there, you pass up 2 Big 10 teams and 2 Big 12 teams (actually 3 until Nebraska just left this year). You also have to get past Notre Dame, who is a damned Independent. Have you ever played again the Big 10? They travel better then probably any other conference. If you play Ohio State, they will bring probably more people than Tennessee. There fans are very supportive. And Big 10 football is pretty damn good too. Hell, who wants to go play in Happy Valley or the Big House? Is A&M "truly" a SEC school by geographic location? Probably not, but that doesn't really matter these days. Colorado is not really a PAC 12 school - by location - but they are in that conference. So.....GET OVER IT! You have to deal with the Aggies now! And we bring more than just football......get ready for Basketbball and Baseball and other sports where we can definitely compete with ANY SEC team. Bring it on! We are not afraid! And we welcome new rivalries!! I am so sick of the damn whiney ass Texas Longhorns!!! I will welcome you all into our humble little stadium in College Station - we call it Kyle Field - and it is one of the toughest places to play in the nation because it is so loud. All I know is that the list below shows that only 30 schools have won National Championships in Football out of more than 100 Division 1-A teams - and Texas A&M is on that list....granted, it was 1939, but we are on the list. Actually, if you go back further, we were the consensus champs in 1919 as well. So...it is with open arms that I embrace the SEC and look to make new friends.....and new rivals. Let the games begin!!!!!! School Championships Seasons Alabama 8 1961, 1964, 1965 (AP), 1973 (Coaches), 1978 (AP), 1979, 1992, 2009 Notre Dame 8 1943, 1946, 1947, 1949, 1966, 1973 (AP), 1977, 1988 Oklahoma 7 1950, 1955, 1956, 1974 (AP), 1975, 1985, 2000 USC 7 1962, 1967, 1972, 1974 (Coaches), 1978 (Coaches), 2003 (AP), 2004 (AP)* Miami 5 1983, 1987, 1989, 1991 (AP), 2001 Nebraska 5 1970 (AP), 1971, 1994, 1995, 1997 (Coaches) Ohio State 5 1942, 1954 (AP), 1957 (Coaches), 1968, 2002 Minnesota 4 1936, 1940, 1941, 1960 Texas 4 1963, 1969, 1970 (Coaches), 2005 Florida 3 1996, 2006, 2008 LSU 3 1958, 2003 (Coaches), 2007 Army 2 1944, 1945 Auburn 2 1957 (AP), 2010 Florida State 2 1993, 1999 Michigan 2 1948, 1997 (AP) Michigan State 2 1952, 1965 (Coaches) Penn State 2 1982, 1986 Pittsburgh 2 1937, 1976 Tennessee 2 1951, 1998 Colorado 1 1990 (AP) Georgia Tech 1 1990 (Coaches) BYU 1 1984 Clemson 1 1981 Georgia 1 1980 UCLA 1 1954 (Coaches) Maryland 1 1953 Syracuse 1 1959 Texas A&M 1 1939 TCU 1 1938 Washington 1 1991 (Coaches) * USC's 2004-2005 BCS National Championship was vacated by the BCS and the AFCA Coaches' Trophy returned.[17] Oh yeah, and by the way.....I am not making excuses, but !&M was without our top defender and one of our top receivers against OSU. That is life, and they beat us. It is hard to win when you throw 3 interceptions on 3 consecutive series. We look to rebound against Arkansas this week. Unarmed.......wanna make little wager? If Arkansas wins, I will change my name to PigSooey! for a week. If A&M wins, you have to change your name to WHOOPed! Awards

I will not be back in game until probably Wednesday, but when I get in game, you will see me as PigSooie!! Damn, I am so disappointed in my Ags. They played an AWESOME first half. I thought they had a shot to pull it out in the end, but we fell short. I do think that we showed that we can be competitive though. We just need to work on keeping it up in the second half. Hats off to Arkansas for not giving up at the half. They played a hell of a second half and schooled A&M. Hell of a game. Just didn't go our way this week. Awards
