Brings back lots of memories. My Barrett's Privateers story: in the early1990's, I was a student and working at the campus computer store. We were a non-profit, and we turned a profit, so we had to burn it. The boss booked us and significant others for a March weekend at the White point Beach Lodge on Nova Scotia's Atlantic coast. Myself, a co-worker and the boyfriend of our graphic artist were in the bar tossing back scotch on a blustery Saturday night. The three of us are over 6'2" with barritone voices. After several shots, we start singing Barrett's Privateers with much gusto. The only other people in the bar, a foursome, cheered us on with much laughter (with or at us, I'm not sure) and singing. I moved out of NS 5 years ago and miss it dearly. Do you still live there? I'm going back to visit my parents in July.
