I have used them for installs when clients did not have disks available http://www.mydigitallife.info/windows-7-iso-x86-and-x64-official-direct-download-links-ultimate-professional-and-home-premium/ Also, when does the BSOD happen? Does it happen when you do specific things or does it seem random? Depending on when it crashes there may be an entry in the Event Viewer. 1. Right click on Computer and select Manage 2, expand event viewer 3. expand windows logs 4. Click on system and look for items with a level of 'Error' or 'Critical' and you might be able to get the hex code from there.

Check to see if the following helps. Method 1: Check to see if the issue occurs in safe mode. To do so, follow these steps. a. Restart your computer and start pressing the F8 key on your keyboard. On a computer that is configured for booting to multiple operating systems, you can press the F8 key when the Boot Menu appears. b. Use the arrow keys to choose Safe mode in the Windows Advanced Boot Menu Options and then press Enter. c. Check if you can open the desktop icons, if not, then it could be some third party application that is causing the issue. Method 2: Restart the computer in normal mode and follow the below mentioned article to find the cause of the problem. How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7 Note: Make sure you put the computer back to Normal Startup once you are done. Method 3: Update the chipset, video card, display and network adapter drivers to the latest by visiting the computer manufacturer’s website. Using the device manager and getting the drivers from Microsoft and may or may not be the most updated. So, If you have an nvidia graphics card go to the nvidia site and download the latest driver from them. Also, if you could get me a copy of your memory dump, I could take a look to see what may be directly causing the issue. Here is a link to a tool that will pull all of your log files and the memory dump http://www.sevenforu...structions.html just run the WSF diagnostic tool and upload the reulting files to the forum here.
