i have 2010 honda accord fully loaded. and i accidentally hit the curve and now there is a little 1 2 scratches . nothing serious just the actual paint has been scraped off and my car is dark silver so you cant notice them unless you take a look at them closely. but anyway it really bothers me having them. my friends said it ll cost a lot if i go to body repair shop n have them fix it. how do i deal with it?

You could try an abrasive polish called T-Cut that may be available in the USA.

It is a popular solution here for dealing with minor scratches.

add the same scraches on the other side so it looks like a feature :)-  There are alot of people who go to car lots and remove dents and small scratches from cars so they can sell better.  Couple of hundred at the very most. Look for car detailers or call a car dealer and ask for the name of the person they use for scratches.

the dealers usually sell touch up paint that goes on like nail polish in the same colour as your vehicle.

Usually under $20 here in Canada,so probably $7.99 where you are..lol

If you can't feel them running your finger nail over them they can be buffed out check a body shop or ask the dealer how much it will cost. I don't think it should be that much.

if it is just a surface scuff try wet sanding with the highest grit sandpaper you can find.  I did this to my 04 SVT Focus. It was silver and someone hit the bumper and it had black paint from the other car and some areas were scratched to the primer on my car.  I used the wet sand method to remove the black paint and smooth out the scratches then applied factory touch up paint wet sanded again then applied 4 coats of clear to bring shine back.  Just pick a small spot and take your time don't use too much pressure and keep it even.

on the steel or plastic part of car ?   if steel you need to cover it right now to prevent moister getting under paint causing rust by using clear scotch tape till your ready to repair , use nail polish remover to clean off when ready to touch-up

first get your paint code then get paint and follow Twinkie instuctions 5141d0118e775_2010honda.png
