I bought it because it is different. The barrel is on the underside. Firing from the bottom of the cylinder theoretically lightens the recoil by directing the force more into your arm as opposed to above the wrist. Need to get it out and give it a try. Definitely less muzzle flip with the Rhino. The under barrel concept does work.

I have HXTR in both .38 +P and .357. at the same time I also shot my Ruger SP 101, 3" barrel with the same ammo. A definite difference in muzzle flip. I really liked it.
