Is there any way we can lower the score to win or maybe have maps that dont take sudden death to win every round.

I dont usually like complaining but being on the same map for over an hour gets a little boring and people  leave

I agree, but I don't know how you would do this for just some maps and not others.  Some of the maps take soooo long, you just want to shoot yourself in the head to make it end!

Well we can not change scores per map, but if you tell me what maps that last a long time I will make sure to rotate them out on the next map change.

People leave and people join happens on everymap, every day, not just the long ones, as i said in another post we are just going to end up with run and gun maps and then people will leave then too because every map will be the same, some of the so-called long maps are very popular, but obviously not with the run and gun brigade.

I dont have the names of the map but when you can sit in your spawn and defrost 80 percent of your team then the map never ends and freeze tag becomes pointless.

 

Im not talking about run and gun, im talking about your team actually being able to stay frozen

Well if maps are lasting over 1 hour i can only assume you mean the larger maps in the rotation, i f thats the case i don't see how you can defrost 80% of the team by staying in your spawn in a map so big, another thing what about people who like long maps? there are'nt any rules to say a map has to be over in a few minutes, why can't we just have a variation of long and short maps.

I think it would be nice to knock the score down to 300,and make one of the servers hardcore!

i personally love the fact that you guys rotate new maps in as much as you do, keeps the game fun and interesting. As for longer maps alot of the time it depends on the teams. Ive seen certain maps go the distance each round just to play it the next day and get steam rolled. anyhow keep up the good work.

i like most of the current maps - except for the ones with teleports. Pretty anoying to take cover and suddenly have an enemy popping up behind you. Not a good way to play tactically - then it just comes down to whom lags the most.

i got a question, not that im necessarily advocating it... but for arguments sake, if you WANTED to make each player defrost a max number of times per map iteration, could you actually do that?

Don't know how that would work Resolute, with people joining and leaving all the time it would be nigh on impossible to make people get a certain number of defrosts, not only that sometimes with all the good will in the world you just cant get as many defrosts as you would like, also i can see the fights starting now about who stole who's defrost if they become so important, but i see where you are coming from with this query, there is nothing more frustrating having a glory hunter on your team who sees defrosting as below his/hers skill level and would just rather get kills instead.Smile

We will never manage to have a rotation that is loved by 34+ Players. There will always be maps you don't like.

 

Actually the map I like the most is Caen - it fits almost everybody's needs!
