The reason I ask is that as you probably know I have not been our servers at all lately the reason is I get a little bored with conquest 24/7 and have been enjoying the TDM and The Domination game modes. There's no more useless way to waste time that could've been spent working as a team to complete objectives, instead of running around like headless chickens shooting randomply spawning people. And I'm definitely sure the EU HC server makes me do exactly that every once in a while, so... The EU HC box lets you vote for game modes, it runs TDM CQ and DOM when there's not many people in and OBL DOM and CQL when there are. Obliteration seemed fun.I think, with a tight squad, Obliteration is the best mode I have seen in BF thus far. As good as, maybe better than, CTF. But it hinges on a good squad of cooperating players willing to sacrifice their KD ratio for victory. I like DOM too though as an occasional thing. A little man on man action, BF4 style. i.e. no vehicles. As for Commander mode: I got bored with it, but having a commander is a big advantage and if his orders are followed, a great teamplay booster which strengthens OBL and CQL games. The best rounds I've had have had me ordering my squad around following commander's orders and working with squadmates to take and then hold the assigned flags or targets, or setting up a safe path for the bombcarrier. You only need 1 player in 25 to like the mode for there to be a commander on each team when the server is full after all. 4%... that's not a lot of people You will probably be talking about 1 Squad in a full server, nobody really cares, people don't play to be ordered about probably by someone they don't know, that's not fun, it will flop and will hardly ever get used, i can only see insults and whines getting typed in game because players are ignoring it or telling the Commander to go fuck himself, i see it in Red Orchestra, they have something similar, officer trying to order 30 odd players about they just get ignored, it don't bother me if it's in or not i will just ignore any orders if i get any. One reason I love this server. Often times conquest over and over gets dull. This even if he doesn't manually flip it at request rotates and mixes things up. Makes playing the same maps not as bad as the different modes use different parts of the map. The conquest ones are still semi long but the other modes are fairly quick so you don't get angry if you get owned as it isn't so bad But yes, let's fill that one up more, lets get all the XI servers full! tsw 8.5 and dadda2 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
