I've been off cigarettes for over 15 years, and I smoked from about 11y/o till I was 40. I had a couple of years of "quitting" in there, too, but what finally got me off nicotine was the patch. The patch meters your nicotine intake, reducing it over time. Even so, after I took the last smallest patch off, I felt the craving a little. Luckily, I powered through the last 48 hours to freedom. And that time, I did NOT look back. Best decision I ever made. I look at cartons of those little pieces of shit in the stores these days totally astonished that they are over $75.00USD/carton. What the FUCK? Who can afford that kind of shit? I was smoking a carton in maybe 8 - 10 days, and back then, I don't think they were over about $20. And the gum, the patch, and I'm sure eCigs are MORE expensive than the tobacco products they replace. Nicotine addiction is bad for your health, and bad for your finances. Just QUIT !!! It can be done. After over 15 years, I have absolutely no desire to smoke. At the same time, I also know that it would take only ONE to hook me again, so I just steer clear. But my point is, there is absolutely NO cravings now, or even curiosity about maybe having just one for old times sake. I am free. eCigs just hold you a slave to nicotine. Because they mimic the actual smoking of a real cigarette, and deliver nicotine just like a real cigarette, I don't think they bring anything to the table in terms of eliminating an addition to one of the most addictive substances on the planet. Yes, they probably do get rid of other toxins found in processed tobacco, but at a higher monetary cost. If you quit, you get rid of the addition AND the money suck. The only thing in liquids that can be dangerous is the formation of acroleine but that is only obtained at higher temperature than our ecigs can get to. note that u eat acroleine everyday when u eat cooked food. What I do know is that the gum and the patch were significantly more expensive than the cigarettes they helped you get away from, but I just accepted that as the cost of detoxing. Do you know what is in the coca cola ? no they only release 'plant extracts' from the studies, we do know what chemicals are in it. its simple, u got PG, VG, flavoring, sometimes a bit of water, or alcool, sometimes u get some sugarish additives, stuffs like that. thats not really important actually, whats important is what u inhale and the chemical formations resulting from the processus. as i mention before, there is no combustion, but the liquid get vaporized by heat, and therefore u get chemical formations in the vapor. that is what is important to check. The most dangerous chemical that could result from the heat would be the acrolein, but again u only can get acrolein at higher temps that what u can get in our usual vaping units. u have other chemicals formation from the processus but way less than a real tobacco cigarette. and btw some liquid manufacturers get their liquid checked by health institutions already. a real cig countains about 7000 different chemical coumpounds, most of them are dangerous. Im a real smoker for 37 years and didnt want to stop....loved it the whole time.....but the risk is known, and great. Vaping is the much lesser of 2 evils and im rockin the shit out of it.Its preference for lifestyle...of sorts....thats all. Not to mention it tastes waaaay better. I AM DA GAMECHANGER AND I WILL VAPE HEAVY AS I LOVE IT!!!....AND CHKNFNGER IS ONE OF MY GURUS!!!!!!
