post-59-0-36060000-1399943664_thumb.jpgDid my spring cleaning on my Z. Now I hate to drive the damn thing. Its a 1991 Nissan 300Z Twin Turbo. Few mods to raise the HP up to 425 at the rear (dyno tuned). Hope to get it to around 600HP in the next few years (larger injectors and bigger turbos). Lets see some other clean cars !!!!

1992 Mazda MX-5.

It may be a bit girly but it's the best roadster ever made and is a hell of a lot of fun to drive!   (for the price)

I snapped this pic in my budy's driveway the other day. (the left 2 are his, clean one is mine)

Not to worry. I'm not a fool. I don't drive fast on the road. Red cars attract cops.  (my first ticket was changing lanes without using a blinker)

I would love to upgrade it and join an amateur racing club.  Probably autocross, or maybe rally cross  :D  some people rally with miatas...

Cemetery is a nice peaceful place to take pictures and makes for an interesting background.  :)   Besides the park was full of people.

My cousins ex husband  lives in Texas and he has a built Miata that he track races.   I think he is or was the president of the Texas Spokes Sportscar Club.   But Id like to pick one up for a project race car.    Alot of things you can do to them.  Imagine shoe-horning a V8 into one !!

Thanks.  This is the 4th Z I have owned and I plan on keeping this one.  I sold my White 91 Twin Turbo a few years back and regretted it ever since, so my wife said I have to keep this one.   One of my daughters drives a 1990 Z which we bought for her when she started driving.  Fun cars to drive.

nice.

A lot of people do put V8's in them... they acutally end up lighter because of aluminum block over the cast iron stuff that old miatas have.

You also need to replace all the drive train.

Thanks.  For a 23 year old car its really clean inside and out.   The engine bay is just as clean as the outside.   I picked it up late last year.  Im the 3rd owner and its always been garaged and covered.  I wasnt really looking to buy another car, but I once I saw the shape this one was in and the price, I couldnt pass it up.

Yeah the Datsun Fairlady 1500 is a rare bird for sure.   The Z's picked up the Fairlady legacy and they make "Fairlady Z" decals that fit under the back wing where the Nissan logo fits.  There is a couple Fairlady 2000's on ebay right now.  One is in California with a $12,000 "Buy It Now" price tag.

whats the speed limit there.

Speed limits here where Im at are 55mph, 65mph and 70mph (highway speed limits) depending on the highway.  But that doesnt mean you cant blow the carbon out every now and then.  My old white Nissan Twin Turbo Z I hit 168mph it it and it was still pulling.  This new red one I have hit 120mph, but until I get new back tires, I wont go any faster.  When I bought the car it had two new Yokohama S-Drives on the front (speed rating of Y), but the backs are older (not "Y" rated) and have little tread left.  Ordered two new Yokohama S-Drives for the back on Monday and they should be here tomorrow.  And that means I get to "Smoke" the old ones !!!!
