Not sure why the rebuild but make sure you look at the pump real good and if you replace it replace the converter .. well the trans was shifting bad before the engine blew up so i figure just get it done and not have any issues down the road, plus the pump is inside the trans and is part of the rebuild kit. don't know whats up with the link, but it was big rebuild kit with all the Solenoids,bands, sprag bearings,gaskets and o-rings, should run another 90k no problem. plus im not a lead foot like my brother is, i got to do all that on the race track! The guys that came up with the idea and then built the first auto trans drank more coffee than is healthy. lol it's my 1st on a 30RH trans, not my 30th time.....idiot! the 30RH/A904 im told is one of the easier ones to do. so im giving it a shot to save some cash and just to give it a try. I've rebuilt 2/stroke engines a bunch of times and enjoyed it, use to race this cars with a 600 twin polaris snowmoble engines, 1000 pound cars with 140-160 hp. even had to tear one down when it blew up at the track and rebuilt it in the pits and got out on the track in 40 mins to win the feature race. I don't race anymore but here's a couple pics of my buddies car. all the body panels, front wing and tires are off and the engine is out of it getting ready for a rebuild. built this things ourselves. lots of fun. you can see the engine in pieces in the red circles here i am after winning a race...woot. this is what they look like with everything on and working Edited September 6, 2014 by Hemps hxtr and loaderXI 2 Awards

I found out quick that it wasn't (quick) So i rebuilt an old Polaris 400 liquid cooled engine and I am just finishing it up . Its at the ranch I work at because there are miles of dirt roads to drive on and tuning the carb is easier there. I will post some pics when I get done. also at the ranch we are building a razor with a 3 cylinder turbo charged Yamaha snowmobile engine that is supposed to make 200+ HP What is the top speed of the car in the pics above? hxtr, Hemps, billyblade and 1 other 4 Awards

I will post some pics when I get done. also at the ranch we are building a razor with a 3 cylinder turbo charged Yamaha snowmobile engine that is supposed to make 200+ HP What is the top speed of the car in the pics above? very nice! always wanted to build an off roader myself. looks like it would be lots of fun! we got this going around 150-155mph on the straight away at blackhawk farms road course, we are skirting up the bottom of the car better and making it more aerodynamic and hope to get more out of it. also my friend is a wizz when it comes to clutching and gearing, you be surprised what you can get out of the motor when done right. we ran against guys with more power and lots of money in there stuff and smoked them with a stock motor down the straights.
