Hi all!

Since I'd like to join the COD 5 tournament, I tried to install the patches available on the XI website.
However patch 1.6 is no more available at downloading on our website. Though, I downloaded this patch from another website but got the error 1335 data1.cab is corrupt and then can't go on installing the patches.

I tried many ways to resolve this but couldn't find any solution.

Is anyone could help me or has got a solution for this issue?

Thanks in advance!

Thank you guys for your answers and your help!

I am downloading the zip package which link was supplied by @Angelz

Do you think I should restart the game installation from scratch?

I will let you know the result anyway.

Have a good afternoon

If you try from scratch it will say this patch is already installed. Just install the ones you need.

What?  Another post?

People - PLEASE DO NOT CROSS POST.  Just one is sufficient.  More just duplicates effort and makes it confusing for people replying or trying to track an issue for their own benefit, too.

It is not done on purpose. Sometimes when you click to submit it just makes 2 posts. I have had it happen to me.

This was on purpose.  It was in 2 different forum sections.  This one and the COD WAW forum.  It's officially known as "cross posting" and is in an attempt to get a faster response by making the request visible in multiple places.  It is absolutely discouraged everywhere.

Sorry, I didn't notice it was posted in more than one section.

Hi guys!

First, I want to apologize since I first posted the request in the COD 5 discussion and read that it would be better to post it in the Computer Help section. So, I indeed duplicated my post. Sorry for that @djMot:blushing:

Second, I want to thank everybody for the very helpful answers I received!

I used the link supplied by @Angelz and it worked! I could install the patch 1.6 and then the last one.

I also had to find a download for the fastfile 'common_mp' unreadable and replace it in the 'zone' file.

Now, the game works and I can join the xi server. Thanks!

Have a nice day

I'd say it could go either way, but as it is a COD5 question, the COD5 forum makes the most sense, imho.  It's fine if you realize you would rather post in another forum section, but go back to the original post and edit it to point to the one you really want to have the discussion in.  Or if the edit timeout has elapsed, make an update post noting the discussion has move to [new discussion link].

No need to take the fall for this.  It's not a beatdown or blame-game.  Just a learning experience.  Cary on.
