Not really help but I'd I thought I'd share this it's me doing a clutch and drive shaft change on my 23 year old 106 the clutch I took out is the original with 83k on the clocks 4 and a half hours to do had a grinding noise using the clutch bearing had seized cutting into the pressure plate

Is that Mud and rust inside the bellhousing? Was you Mud bogging with it? Or diving down the middle of a river?  Ya no wonder the bearing seized lol.

I hate changing clutches but it's pretty satisfying when ya get it down. Changed the clutch in my brothers Nissan Xterra. That wasn't fun. Helped my neighbor put the clutch in his Ford F350 7.3l 4x4 dually. That actually wasn't quite as bad as the Xterra.

well next time you want to do a clutch that is 8 hours of fun try a chevy cobalt! I did mine @ 174000 put 24000 on the new one and sold it! ;)

I just did an Automatic Transmission on my 2000 Toyota Tundra....

Funny enough I probably have it's a beater I've bombed it through snow mounds taller than it and flood that come over the bonnet cleaned out the carb and filter and she starts right up just refuses to die

 

Also try doing a daf xf with a superspace cab damn thing nearly killed me gearbox has 100 pounds on me and the flywheel jesus

Best tool to have is 4x4 lumber to support engine on front wheel drive and coat hangers across shock towers

Clutch rider.......will over heat throw out bearing.....less foot on pedal the better and low RPM engagement will extend the life of clutch. 1.300k  on cable  pedal was just getting to rivets an no slip yet

Nah I don't ride the clutch I don't use it to change gears normally either only use it for first gearing and slowing down through the gearbox Eaton gearbox's taught me rev matching I'm pretty good at it now the bearing and clutch were just old starting to bind
