Was you Mud bogging with it? Or diving down the middle of a river? Ya no wonder the bearing seized lol. I hate changing clutches but it's pretty satisfying when ya get it down. Changed the clutch in my brothers Nissan Xterra. That wasn't fun. Helped my neighbor put the clutch in his Ford F350 7.3l 4x4 dually. That actually wasn't quite as bad as the Xterra.
