I could see maybe 25-30 feet in front of the me the whole time, and I was the only person on the trail. All I could hear was the moisture dripping off the plants and occasionally the sound of a small animal moving. It was like the start of a horror movie. Very eerie. BUDMAN 1 Awards

Gotta see that English country side! @MikZzona I hope you're exploring too! I need more pics! I wanted to go hike the past two weekends, but weather was terrible in both instances. Today is midsommar, a celebration for the summer solstice, and the biggest celebration of the year in Sweden - a sort of unofficial National Day. Tradition dictates that it always, always, rains for midsommar. As I can see from my window, the tradition has been respected this year too, in no uncertain terms! Weekdays are incredibly sunny and warm though (coincidence? I think not), so I'll try to escape for a while next Thursday or something. Looks like you're having a great time @Daddyo! Awards

My man, I had 5 min of sunshine, and that was it. I got that fog, and it kinda sucked. Though what I was able to see, only made me want to come back again to it. Driving from 11-2:30AM then hiking it was an experience I loved, a bit scary for me. Turned into a 5h30 hike -including some good time to try to find the path and check the map-, somewhere between 13 and 15 km long. The path was very tricky, just how I like it, difficult to see and to follow, barely wide enough to put two feet side by side, alternating portions deep into the woods and along the lakes. You're kinda forced to go slowly and admire the nature you're trying to walk through. It was awesome. Some photos here, including a very Swedish-looking cottage in the middle of nowhere, and an insanely tiny forest frog, had never seen one like that before - there was dozens of these in just one specific place of the path, that was pretty mind-blowing! I was too busy trying to find the path when I was deep in the woods to take photos there. RobMc and Kitsune 2 Awards
