Reline Server

Good day all,

A change for those who like something different once in a while, Redline mod has been loaded and running a mixed rotation of DM and CTF maps.

  For those who haven't played this mod before, check it out, it excellent.

Aside from a few glitches it is the best I've seen for cod 5

I agree, it's an excellent conversion of the game.

Not on gametracker but is our server so you'll find it by search it the IP above.

Redline is an excellent mod, essentially a full server side conversion.

Three things:

1.  We tried to go to the Redline server this evening when DM3 hung.  Looks like most people were having problems getting in.  The map was Alcatraz,  I was getting DX9 errors and crashing on the splash screen of the map.
    
2. Could you please restore the QPort timeout on DM3 to its lowest value so we can get in after a game crash faster?  The Redline server was at least clearing the QPort session quickly.  Maybe compare its setting to the one on DM3.  DM3 takes forever after the game crashes on your computer to let you past the duplicate QPort error.  It doesn't have to take that long.
    
3. Way too many map rotations on DM3 are causing the server to hang these days.  I see Opto is now a mod and I think someone else showed up with mod taqs too the other day, but I don't remember who that was atm.  But tonight, there was no one there to save us, and the Redline server let us down.  Last night Opto was there, but didn't have the training to restart the server.  That should be training task #1 for a new mod.  Last night we went over to the Sniper server and had fun.

@djMot timeout set on DM3 is the same as the other servers. Other cause of this which is out of our hands is that activision's validation server is not releasing the game key right away.
Was just in the Redline server without issue and as well loaded the map alcatraz so not clear on why anyone would be having trouble getting in.  This server has run before many times, only change this time around is the mixed game type.  if the problem persists, then will try straight DM, but there's no known issues with the maps that are in play.  As for DX9 errors, perhaps a local issue and the version of DX on the machine.
Rotation on DM3 will be swapped out sometime today.
