Been doing this job for about 30 years, load software , troubleshoot electrical components and replace parts

After 24.5 years, I retired on Sept. 24th. I am now a private contractor.

...are cookin'-up nicely; medium rare to medium is as far as I like to go. They have a lot of marbling for select; would say not far from prime; & @ $6/lb. are a steal. Gonna have to go scoop some more tomorrow.

UPDATE: Today was a positive day. CT shows normal brain activity and O2 through intubation reduced to 60%. Thank you all.

dimps got that down pat with his 2 zone heat BBQ Reverse searing: is a cooking process used for steak (and other thick cuts of meat) which involves a low and slow cook early in the process and finishes with a high temperature sear. This process can be completed on a grill with two-zone heat, a smoker with low temperature and a high heat sear (on a grill or cast iron pan), or even in a low temperature oven and a high temperature skillet. You can utilize whatever grills, appliances, or tools you have available to reverse sear the perfect steak as long as you have an understanding of the two-step process.

Reminds me of this chick to whom the local game warden referred me for coordination back when I did wildlife rehabilitation. She knew her shit & was dedicated; but she was like one of those crazy cat ladies that would let the squirrels & ground squirrels brought to her absolutely trash some rooms of her house; to include chewing the shit outta door frames. Yeah, I had to laugh, because even just after I noticed the inner pane was intact, I still looked to see if my TV was ok. Duh.

Guys doing maintenance on the exterior of the building from a cherry picker noticed the bullet fragment - which was the back-half of the bullet - laying between the two panes. When the building manager showed it to me, I saw immediately it was a hunting caliber size. It had material like that of the exterior of our building embedded in the front end of its remnants, leading me to believe it might have struck the building before hitting the window. Nobody would've been targeting me specifically, as there's no way to know whose apartment is where from the nondescript exterior. Lining up the largest hole in the screen with the hole in the window produces an oblique angle that also included the smudge or whatever on the inner, intact pane. This had to have happened in the past couple days & had me thinking to a loudish sound I heard hitting the window a couple evenings ago, which I attributed to a bird strike; although I can't be sure that was when it happened. It's an interesting mystery of sorts. The building manager messaged the photographs to the police that live in our building for their opinion, & in all probability will file a report to facilitate insurance coverage, among other things.

Thanks. I live several stories up; magnetic locks on building doors with cameras all throughout & on the perimeter... even a few police live in the building. Nice area, nice people. Wouldn't live in a crime-ridden area.

Good news, glad to hear you don't live in one of those big cities with all the crimes and murders occur day after day or year after year ran by the one party for the last 50 years or so, not all but most.

Yeah, prices are ridiculous here, too. It's just that this store only charges you 10% more than what they pay; and they have a butches that cuts the meat there from the primal cuts.

I wasn't going to talk about this because well I generally only keep things to myself. But due to some unforseen circumstances I was facing living out of my vehicle. So I had to give my 1 year old German Shepherd away. I balled liked a baby of course but the people who took him were amazing. And they said that if I ever get a place again to come get him. So these past couple of weeks have been crazy busy but I have been blessed with a beautiful place to live and my baby back. I was super happy and just wanted to share with my XI family.
