Great move Icequeen! Mom was an RN, my wife was a Doctor of Pharmacy, & SIL hospital CEO. The medical field had a place of high honor, but has devolved into something grotesque. I don't blame anyone for bailing out. You can't talk to the people that remain, they're no longer human. I'm a dry clutch, ratchet lid four speed kinda guy. Prices for Shovelheads on Craigslist & marketplace have become ridiculous. The people paying huge dollars for old glides must have never owned one before, they just aren't that great of a motorcycle. Found this ride in Indiana, 1994 FXDS w/6k miles on it. It's like brand new, and I got it for a song. I'm going to tool around locally for a bit, to shake it out, then head to San Antonio to rescue my car. After unloading & dead weight removal. I like my Superglides bare bones.

As most of you know I've been in Healthcare for years. I started out when I was 20. Started out as a CNA in an Alzheimers and Dementia unit and that's where I've been since. Got my nursing degree and stayed. Covid took alot out of me mentally and physically to where I just feel that my mental health has become so unhealthy as well. And I feel it's time for a big change in many ways. Eating right. Exercise and a new career path. I've been wanting yo make this change for a while and now I finally have. Okay thanks for letting me vent.
