I love it... Smeggie is a good name and very fun to say. I can see saying Smeggie you Schmuck but not for its true meaning... but only because it's fun.

Smegma is a good name as well. Not near as fun to say though. I wonder if the British will pronounce Smeggie like Smegma or Smegmu. Can they make that sound eeeeeeee sound? Will have to ask a British folk some how.

If that was his intentions if he didn't change the email address associated to this account, then Smeggie you're a Schmuck!

Smeggie seemed to be appropriate because that's pretty much what everyone calls me anyway.  I mean other than asshole....I get that a lot, too.

Hey there! We are TEAM SEXY! You may have heard of us? 8) Oh...you haven't?! Wait what do you mean you haven't?!?!  (sigh) Right, well we are @Bamm, @blackwidow, @StormCrow, and myself. We are a rag tag group of misfits who like to try and keep things sexy (duhhh) here at XI. We do this by flirting, sticking knives in each other's asses, and dancing... sometime naked.:w00t:

Speaking of dancing, we here at TEAM SEXY! wanted to make a playlist of all of the sexiest music videos and songs that we can dance (or just feel sexy) to! We've started compiling videos and hope to end up with a good 2-3+ hour playlist to play when we are feeling sexy! We'll also throw in the odd bit of comedy to keep it light and fun!

Do you also like to feel sexy?? If you have a video or song that you think would make the cut, post the youtube video here!!

(NOTE: some of these videos are slightly to very  NSFW, so be mindful if you want to watch or listen)

Okay, let's start with some easy ones...

    What are you SMOKING bro?

  4. On Monday we had a grand celebration to honor fallen firefighter Trevor Brown.

We had over 3,000 first responders at his service.  We filled Cornerstone Chapel to it's absolute gills.

There wasn't a dry eye in the house, and it was spectacular.  I really love my fire and ems family.

Here is a post I made on the Sterling Volunteer Fire Company facebook page on Monday night.  I feel every word of it.

It's just a short video I made from cameras I mounted on the engine carrying his remains.  It's just the arrival at Cornerstone Chapel.

But man does it tell a story.....yours truly is on the left side at 1:03 with his face stuck in his camera....what else is new?  😃

"Brotherhood and Sisterhood. From the outside looking in, you can never understand it. From the inside looking out, you can never explain it.  Today we witnessed the very best.  First responders from all over the region came out to honor and pay respects to SVFC Firefighter Trevor Brown.  Join us on SVFC Engine 618B as Firefighter Trevor Brown  arrives at Cornerstone Chapel for his Last Alarm."

    RIP Trevor Brown.

And to top it all off, I found out that one of our past Chief's passed away this morning.  His will be the third funeral my company has held in as many months....  😥

  5. Today was super emotional for ALL of the fire-rescue and police departments in my area.

We escorted Firefighter Trevor Brown from the Medical Examiners Office to the funeral home where he will stay until his funeral on March 4th.  The procession went through 3 counties and covered a distance or 42 miles, which took about an hour and a half.  Quint 618 (the fire truck) was part of the procession because this is the truck he was riding the night he was killed.  Bucket 2, where Trevor was riding was left vacant with nothing but his helmet during the procession.

There were numerous helicopters and new agencies covering the silent procession today.  I was with my colleagues lined up along the highway to pay our respects to Trevor.  Overpass after overpass literally jammed full of my brothers and sisters from fire-rescue agencies from all over the area.  I have seen this so many times on TV.  There are no words to describe how incredibly emotional it is to see all these people from your fire 'family' come out and support your 'brother'.  I know @EastCoast50 knows exactly what I am talking about.

It was honestly one of the most moving experiences of my life.  And I have had my share.....

Here is one of many new feeds of today's procession.  Thought you might like it.

So now we plan for Trevor's funeral on Monday March 4th.  It's going to be a BIG deal....we are anticipating thousands of First Responders to participate.  So stay tuned...

i didint know that propane reservoirs could be underground, in Canada never saw that only lines could be buried at 18-24 inches deep.

you bet i would explode like a bomb!!!

Burying propane tanks in Virginia is common practice.  Most people don't, but there are some that do.  Many people in the area rent their propane tanks, thus they are usually installed outside.

The propane tank did not actually explode.  Propane is liquid and is denser than air so it will collect in the lowest point in the house, which makes a more dangerous explosion risk.  Propane had leaked into the basement of the house.  The house blew up, not the tank.  There are probably 30+ Fire Marshal's, investigators and the ATF onsite as we speak, investigating.  Who knows if they will be able to figure out what caused the ignition.

Condolences to you and your department on your loss. As a former 15 year fire-rescue/EMS volunteer I can understand the difficult time his family -- and your department -- is in now. As the incident was happening, I texted a friend who is a Loudoun County firefighter just to make sure he and his father (also Loudoun County FD) were ok. He was there and said the scene was utter chaos.

Be MORE than safe out there.

    - Lev

Thanks Lev, appreciate this.  I wonder if I know your friends.  Know what station they are assigned to?  Perhaps you can share a name here or privately.
