Last eye test I asked about glasses for computer I don't need them for reading and they said I didn't need them? hmmm? Mordblacks suggestion sounds good might try that. I suffer with conjunctivitus too SOB, it is of interest that Roman soldiers stationed on the wall, who had never previously suffered, are documented as having bad conjunctivitus. So it may be a regional thing that we can't escape? It's a pain in the arse.

I have been having trouble with my left eye lately and it seems to happen after playing, it is a sharp pain and wakes me at night. I experimented and if I don't play it goes away. Now obviously this is no good and it may just be old age, but before going to doctor (not easy) I wondered if anyone else suffers and if they had a solution, I wear glasses for long vision, but not for computer.

Well as I can't ride bikes again I'm going to start a new hobby, building wooden model boats, any other idiots do this? I can sit and do this, wanted to start clay shooting again but that might be too ambitious at the moment. Yes Angus you're right but I didn't expect a non biker to stick up for Harleys, they are great bikes but the hype from the company keeps the fable alive, not the machinery that is produced, I think the current Indian line up blow them into the weeds for that style of machine. If you had to travel the distances you do in USA and Aussie paying UK fuel prices you'd be broke, but a major part of our prices are tax. On the downside you generally have huge engines with auto boxes and poor efficiency. It will hit us petrol heads hard when petrol and diesel are phased out by law, so enjoy it now, electric (or whatever) are not so exciting, at least to me. Petrol is like whisky, made here but cheaper to buy abroad, we mortals never saw any benefits fron North Sea oil. Some areas in country near here are charging £1.43 a litre 2.04 US a litre, don't moan
