The regulars bought the map pack....the others got disapointed about the game early-on and they never played. The game came out in November 2010. The first map pack came out on March 25th 2011.... I am not the only member that bought the game but refuses to spend another hard earned dollar on this game that has not lived up to its full promise. We do not like the fact that we spent $60 on this game but have to spend $45 more to have all the mp maps. I like many other idiots love to play all the games we host. I personally have all but 2 hosted games. I do not get to play them all very much, but I do like playing them all. I play some for a few week or a few months at a time and get an urge for a change. I honestly dont like playing on other peoples servers they just are not as fun. I did not purchase the map pack I won. A wonderful member held a drawing for it. I thank him greatly for everything he contributes to this clan. but unless I spen $30 more I can not enjoy our servers whenever I want. I just dont think that is fair to me or any other member that has the game but doesnt play very often. the words you chose to use made me feel like if we dont have all the dlc then we arent important. I am sure that is not how you intended it to come across but thats how it came across. I understand it is hard to keep bo servers populated, and you all are doing your best to populate them but how do you keep a server populated when you have people dropping out bc they dont have the maps. please consider my plea for somewhere us idiots know we can go and not have to worry about being dropped due to rotation. Yes to keep it fair for members who dont have the map pack and since this was a fairly new server and that Moshpit was established as a server that ran all maps (stock/dlc) I just went ahead and made the crouch server run stock maps. We had this discussion in the forum a few days ago... Reference topic and the consensus was to keep it as is. However, if we are looking at dropping maps, and are looking at keeping the server populated, the only maps we would drop would be the last DLC. That's the one where we lose players on the server. sometimes up to 50% of the players. If the decision were made to drop maps to encourage players to come to the server, the last DLC would be the one to go. Other than that, if players have made the decision not to buy the DLC's after the original, why would we punish the vastly greater number of players who did put out the cash. Dark Asylum, I understand your situation, I had to grit my teeth every time I pushed the "purchase" button on steam, but it's a choice you made and it has its consequences. Tball I want to say I am not angry, and if I seemed to have directed anger towards you all I do apologize. this game will eventually be a populated game. I mean look at waw how long did it take to get the problems solved? Once the problems were worked out. didnt players that vowed never to play that game again, pick it back up. and now there is almost always someone in one of our WAW servers. this game is just like that. Now that the pproblems are for the most part fixed, players will start playing the game again. it will take some time. Now if these people decide to start playing again, and bam get dropped it might leave a bad taste in their mouth for the game again. I respect all of you admin so much. Yall are doing a great job and to the bo admins. you all have done a fabulous job starting to get interest to grow fir this game. I honestly feel that the game play in bo is by far one of the best cod games. Again I was never angry with any of the idiots. I was not trying to start any problems. I do apologize for any that might have arisen. I have/want the same goal as you all. to finally be able to keep the bo servers populated. It was never about just making me happy, it is about taking baby steps to make sure we dont alienate any of our players that have decided to pick BO back up and give it another try. If I had a job that payed me well enough to be able to buy the packs I would just to keep it fun. but since money is so tight, I can not justify spending more money on this game. you say its just $15 but for some of us $15 means the difference between eating and not eating. Having gas to get back and forth to work, or loosing our job bc we cant make it to work. its not always as simple as well just bite the bullet and buy it.
