Are we gonna have all the same taggs in bf3 ? like everyone makes a new profile and take the same clantaggs ? i know that >XI< wont work in bf3 but would [XI]Name or Name[XI] be a option ? just wondering howwe gonna do that, cos sinds we get a official xi server i suppose members needs to wear there taggs ? cheers.

There is supposed to be a clan tag function in the final version but we'll have to wait and see. word is that you can only place 4 characters in the in-game function. People who already had an ea account are not able to change their name unless they make a new account, and if you've pre-ordered the game, you can't do that. As Rugger said, we'll try to keep clan tags as is.

Like mentioned previously, the end product remains to be known...I read somewhere that there MIGHT be an opportunity to make ONE extra persona...if it's true, that might be the chance we have to "standardize" the name tags... I have to agree that if we look at our XI Platoon that St33L >XI< started, some Origin nicknames were far from any gamer names we're used to... Awards

You can change your ID by installing Android SDK on PC and then Installing "SCRABBLE FREE" by EA That way, you apparently can change your nickname, you your Origin "in-game" name reflects your ">XI< clan name. That way, we know who's who in the zoo!!! Awards

DICE has finally given a straight answer on the question of whether BF3 players will be able to create multiple soldiers and usernames. And that answer is: No. Nup. Nope. Not a chance. The news comes via DICE's Daniel Matros, who succinctly tweeted the answer. But it gets worse. Mr Matros also confirmed that your username in BF3's Battlelog browser is the same username you pick for EA's Origin service. The only way to change this username is to contact EA tech support and politely request a name change. This has lead to the unofficial BF3 Blog speculating that your soldier name will also be your Origin username. However, this appears to be unconfirmed at the moment. http://pc.gamespy.com/pc/battlefield-3/1200509p1.html

I love COD4 but would be willing to try a new one if I knew it was going to be worth my time. Well most of those that have played it are excited about it's release. Since the beta is over and you can't check it out for free, and it is pretty expensive, you might want to wait for a demo or check it out at a friends house or even a local store that has set it up for review, if you are not sure it would be worth it for you. The game is not going to be for everybody. My review of it is BF3 combines the best elements of RTCW (team based classes to assist each other aka medic, supply, engy) with the best elements from Frontlines Fuel of War (planes, helicopters, RC's, sentrys) with the best elements of CoD (customized loadouts and a leveling system) with superb graphics and a quality of realism I have not seen before in any other game. At the same time the game seems to have some issues that even those of us excited about the game don't like (browser based server selection, possible naming issues, clunky squad selection, and very hardware demanding). We are hoping that most of these issues will be corrected but most of what we know about these things are still rumor at best, except those things that have been officially responded to like what I posted above. Anyway that's as honest as I can be with you, that's my 2 cents, checking out the reviews, trailers and youtubes is really your only option until release to decide it's value.
