I have too much crap on my desktop and I do use most of the shortcuts. Is there a good FREE desktop organizer out there that will work for Windows 7?

Thanks

I am using the Stardock Fences.  So far I like it.  Helps organize icons on desktop.

I use fences as well. Great program. Take all the icons you do not use all the time and hide them. Just a double click on the desk top and they all come back....

Why do you need fences? Does your stuff run wild or what?

fences is also great if you game at a different resolution than your desktop is set. atleast in my experience before I got fences sometimes my icons would move around dut to resolution differences now that they are parked inside fences thay no longer run wild

The nice thing about fence is that you can name each fence to easily identify the groups for quick and easy viewing.  I do like the taskbar in Windows 7 but fences does a good job of organizing icons if you have a lot of them you use frequently.  As well as the point made by Dark Asylumn.

I went the easy way and just put the Quick Launch back on my task bar, and have majority of my icons in it, and only a couple things on my desktop. I would rather see the wallpaper than a bunch of icons.
