It died. It wouldn't wake up after I put it to sleep earlier. Now it won't boot up at all. Sucks as I have no life. So much for my plans of gaming all evening. Now I get to sit and watch Bama. grrrrr!

Awwwwww! BNB you should kick him off his and...... well I guess that wouldn't be nice at all. You might check the connector wires from the hard drive to the mb. If they are not connected properly it will do just as you said.I have had this happen to me a few times lately but now with new wires it stopped doing it! Good luck on getting it figured out!

Hold down the power button for about 3-5 seconds and see if that wakes it up.

The easiest way to fix it is throw it down a flight of stairs...there is a very good chance your new pc will not have the same issues ;%29.gif

Its hard to try and help someone on here LoL, I could probly repair it if it was sitting in front of me.. You need to take the cmos battery off of the motherboard and let it reset for about 10minutes and put it back in and try to boot.**WARNING** Whenever your doing anything with the inside of a pc, make sure you dont have any static charge on your hands, or clothes or you will short out your motherboard and thats no good..

Thank you all for your responses. Wizid: That is so sweet of you! Nutcutter: lmao! I was so tempted to do something like that last night.

I did a hard reset and was able to boot it up. I'm now troubleshooting and running scans. I know that there are some hardware issues going on. I think I'm going to go ahead and start ordering the parts for a new system and get this laptop running enough to use just for browsing and video chats.
