Awwwwww! BNB you should kick him off his and...... well I guess that wouldn't be nice at all. You might check the connector wires from the hard drive to the mb. If they are not connected properly it will do just as you said.I have had this happen to me a few times lately but now with new wires it stopped doing it! Good luck on getting it figured out! Awards

You need to take the cmos battery off of the motherboard and let it reset for about 10minutes and put it back in and try to boot.**WARNING** Whenever your doing anything with the inside of a pc, make sure you dont have any static charge on your hands, or clothes or you will short out your motherboard and thats no good.. Wizid: That is so sweet of you! Nutcutter: lmao! I was so tempted to do something like that last night. I did a hard reset and was able to boot it up. I'm now troubleshooting and running scans. I know that there are some hardware issues going on. I think I'm going to go ahead and start ordering the parts for a new system and get this laptop running enough to use just for browsing and video chats. Blackbart, simplemod and BigPapaDean 3 Awards
