I was also a huge fan and frequenter in your Obscurity and Hide'n'seek mod servers - until they were taken down. Kartoon/Jack, who is a gaming buddy I've known since "Swat 4," - and a fan of the OBS mod - suggested that if we/I like the mod enough, to bring it back. Now, clearly, that server has been down and was inactive during its' last few weeks of service. However, I've been playing in the only other active USA server that hosts the mod - EAS' OBS - and have seen a spike of interest w/ a bunch of new players joining. Among the new clans seen playing in there include your very own members: >XI< dudes (and dudettes!) Seeing that a few of them have never played the "Predator"-inspired mod, but have taken quite an interest in it, I asked Kartoon: Well...why not bring the ol' XI OBS server back? Since the mod has such a relatively small community, I think it would greatly benefit not only XI to have their OWN server again, but also to all other Obscurity-loving fans. It would expand the fan base, in giving gamers another server, another choice, to play and have fun in. I'm making a case for this here b/c I'm a HUGE fan of the mod. Been playing it ever since I learned about it a few months ago, back in October/Nov. It's a VERY challenging but, ultimately, rewarding and FUN/fresh experience that I've never seen before in COD4. With the recent increase in popularity and, thus, people playing, I thought, maybe this could benefit everyone. Soooo, what do you all think? Major Undertaking LOL! Thanks for that and for the, so far, support. Little background about how I got this name: I just downloaded a demo of this CoD-western-wanna-be, called "Call of Juarez." Thinking it would just be a throw-away-type game, I was actually pleasantly surprised how fun it was. I figured I needed a Western-inspired nickname myself. So, I immediately thought of arguably the most well known Western actor of all-time: Clint Eastwood. How could you possibly make fun of that? Within .0001 milliseconds, it had hit me: Clit Yeastwood! Just dropped the "n" in "Clint," and add "Y" in front of "Eastwood!" Anyways, since I never frequent that sniper server myself, and like the SW mod, I agree w/ what's been said to convert sniper to Obscurity (preferably version 2.99a, or 2.99b, since the rest have seemingly been watered down, IMO). Since then we had over 2 people on the server 3 times and that was only 3 or 4. So I am sure its not the maps, so I think this server is done.
