CobraBites Posted April 27, 2013 Member ID: 2313 Group: Fallen Members Followers: 0 Topic Count: 330 Topics Per Day: 0.07 Content Count: 4924 Content Per Day: 1.03 Reputation: 3034 Achievement Points: 33897 Solved Content: 0 Days Won: 4 Joined: 03/19/11 Status: Offline Last Seen: August 2, 2017 Birthday: 05/26/1974 Share Posted April 27, 2013 (edited) most ppl been complaining bout the rotations being just few certain maps on several months at a time...so we went thru tested all maps to find the ones that specifically work for the mw2 beta mod....we utilized the most maps possible for this mod....we have 10 rotations of bout 24 maps per rotation and switch the rotations out every monday ...so we not playing same maps for more than a week...to try and keep maps fresh as possible.and was trying to have the most maps possible as well..we are aware that some maps wont be liked...we just wont be able to please everyone with maps....but with the map rotation changing every week...u only have to deal with certain maps u dont like but for 7 days....this is an old game now...and ppl have to realize only so many maps were made for it and only some of those even work for the mw2 beta server as it is demanding mod for maps that work...we have little over 800 maps on our redirect server only barely 200 of those will work for this mod if that tells u something...but try to be patient...any feed back on the maps and rotations is welcome...there maybe maps that really not that good for ftag or they may have lag issues or some others may have error issue...we are workin on getn those out so we have consistent working map rotation that wont cause issues on the server or for the server.... thanx... Spawn points and glitches seem to be a big issue on these maps. Someone is pointing east and I get frozen from that person when i am North ummmm ummmmm, hell 1 map has a fax machine and you can walk right into it and not be seen. 1 has a rock where you can crawl into and make 15 kills straight. Maps need to be properly checked out before they go on the servers. As a SR ADM from before these are things i looked for in a map, not just how it ran in the servers. A LOT of these maps I wont play.... they just suck changing rotation every week? thats a bit fukn excessive, dontcha think? try 2x a month and make your life easier.... Also, I use the xi downloader everyday and even thou the update says that no updates are available I start the game and a new map starts downloading. However, in general I dont have that many problems with the maps, some suits me, some dont but I can always quit and rejoin once map is over.
